I joined the Deutsche Bahn team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as project manager. With the impressive ambitions of the Saudi Government and municipalities regarding public transportation Deutsche Bahn is working hard to fulfill the customer needs and be of maximum service to the Client.
My first assignment was to support the Abu Dhabi team of DB with the tender preparation for the Dubai Expo 2020 Metro extension.
My current assignment is Project Director of the GCC Railway Project in KSA. The preparation of the Detailed Engineering Design of the 628 Km freight and passenger line connecting UAE to Qatar and Kuwait via Dammam.
In addition to this role, I am the Deutsche Bahn bid-manager for the Program Management and Supervision Services for Operations and Maintenance of the Riyadh Metro O&M. The bid of the Consortium DB E&C and Egis Rail for this challenging 86 Months contract by ArRiyadh Development Authority was successfully delivered on June 8th 2017.

Vattenfall / Nuon (2012-2013) 1. project management establishment phase for a new biomass co-firing plant for the Amsterdam power plant, contracting a European tendered FIDIC SILVER contract and 2. project management for a feasibility study for a new district heating grid connection from a waste incinerator

.Saudi Railways Organisation (2013 - 2014) URS is the Project Management Consultant on the Client side for the Haramain High Speed Railway Project working on behalf of the client SRO. The HHR Project is 450 Km High Speed Rail from Makkah to Madinah through KAEC and Jeddah. As Project Controls Manager / Contract Manager responsible for Employer support and advice on all project management aspects of this $ 13 billion project: Planning, Budgeting, Contract Management, etc. Civil works of the HHR project is FIDIC RED, the rest is Design, Build, Maintain and Operate. Responsible for the overall project cost estimate, master schedule, risk management; assessment of monthly reports from Contractors and the Engineer; advice on Variations and Contractual issues.
.Member of the Netherlands management team for asset management of the railways infrastructure
Responsible for RAMSHEC (reliability, availability, maintainability, safety, health, environment and costs) of the rail infrastructure in Southern-Holland (30% of all passenger mileage and 80% of freight mileage in the Netherlands)
Managing the regional management team: operations management, asset management, safety, environment & legal affairs, communication, planning & control and human resources
Responsible for the contract compliance by all new build and maintenance contractors
Business executive or member of steering groups of railway, stations and area development projects
Legal representative of ProRail in the region: responsible for all contacts, contracts and permits
