Project : Infrastructure FS GAPS for Bani Hajer Project (North Doha)
DN117-P01, DN107-P03 and DN107-P05 Doha, Qatar

The DN117-P01 project is to provide a suitable sewerage outfall for DN109, DN108, DW077 project area catchment and in particular for all the Al Rayyan Stadium located within DN110. The proposed trunk sewer will then discharge to DN107-P03 and ultimately to the existing shaft that is linked to the existing interceptor Sewer available on Shamal Road.
The DN107-P03 infrastructure FS Gaps for Bani Hajer - Package 03 are referred to as the Project is intended to provide a sewerage outfall for the DN110 (North of Qatar Mall of Qatar Area), DN019 (Al Thermaid and Rawdat Egdaim), DN108 (North of Al Nasiraiyah ) and DW077 project area catchments. The Project covers approximately 30 hectares and is located to the east of DN 107 Al Froosh Al Kharatiyat and west of DN004 Al Kharatiyat & Izghawa Phase 1 projects.
The DN107-P05 is to provide a sewerage outfall for DN004, DN016, DN019, DN107, DN108, DN110 and DW077. Area catchment and in particular for the Al Rayyan Stadium located within DN110.

The Scope of Works within the project is summarized below:

• Construction of foul sewer lines with a total of 11 Kilometers with various pipe diameters from 200mm to 1600mm using micro-tunneling techniques.
• Construction of shallow sewer lines with various diameters using open excavation method.
• Construction of 98 No's Inspection shafts manhole, maintenance shafts manhole and thrust pit for future expansion which having 2.10 m to 4.0 meters diameters having from 7 meters until 27 meters in depths.
• Providing connection to the existing sewer lines and manholes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Ensure to monitor that all survey works are performed in strict accordance with the design plan and specifications.
•Maintain a detailed diary of the day’s work activities and site issues.
•Monitor and reviews topographic and other pre-construction survey work to ensure works meets the requirements.
•Monitor all survey control points setup utilized by the Contractor during the execution of the works.
• Confirms adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress; inspecting construction site; verifying calculations and identifying deviation.
• Maintains operations by enforcing project operational policies and procedures.
• Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.

Project : New Pumping Station PS 16N and Interceptor Sewer project
CP 654, Doha, Qatar

Construction of New pumping station PS16N with a depth of 23 meter to invert. Micro Tunnelling works with a Total Length 8 Kilometres between 600mm, 800mm, 1200mm, 1600mmand 2000mm diameter. Also the construction of 60 No's Inspection shafts, maintenance shafts and Caisson Chambers connection which having from 7 meters until 25 meters in depths. Construction of the new sewerage system gravity line with a total of 5 Km in length, ranging from 200mm to 600mm in diameter pipes, construction of 40 Nos of shallow manholes to very deep manholes with the depth range from 2 to 8 meters. And 3.0 km of Rising Main pipelines (HDPE Pipes 800mm) with 3 Nos of wash out chambers, 3 no's of air valve chambers, 1 no's of discharge chamber and having a total project cost of 224 Million Qr.


Duties and Responsibilities:
•Ensure that all construction works are performed in strict accordance with the design plan and specifications
•Maintain a detailed diary of the day’s work activities, site issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labor and equipment used, etc. and sign at the end of each day.
•Monitor and reviews topographic and other pre-construction survey work to ensure it meets the requirements of the client.
•Monitor all survey control points setup utilized by the Contractor during the execution of the works.
•Monitor and check the quality of the Contractor surveying activities.
•Coordinate with the ARE/RE on a daily basis, inform them for all the deviations from the specifications and revealed during site operations. Ensures that the site-work recommend for approval is in compliances with the latest approved drawings, specifications and FCR’s.
•Investigate, report and advice on ARE/ RE for unusual circumstances that may arise during construction works.
•Responsible in reviewing any FCR (Field Change Request) Submitted by the contractor and comment before issuing for approval.

Project : Musaimeer &Ain Khalid Area Sewerage project CP 626/2 Phase 2.

Contractor : Qatar Building Construction Company QBC.

Scope of work : Infrastructure Project which is Musaimeer and Ain Khalid Areas Sewerage Project is design and build of sewerage system including house connections and a pumping station with rising mains depths ranging from 3 to 12 meters. The Project comprises 3 design-build contracts, i.e., CP626/1, CP626/2 and CP626/3, on lump sump basis. The overall catchment area is approximately 3, 000 hectares in size and approximately 770ha, 1, 768ha, 312ha under the 3 respective contracts.
The Sewerage system under the contracts covers (1) 239km Gravity sewer lines of diameter from 200mm to 1, 000mm, with 219km open cut and 20km micro-tunnel; (2) 5, 400 Manholes of diameter from 1, 200mm to 2, 100mm; and (3) 9, 100 House Connections where about 3, 700 is live connection. The Project commenced on 18 July 2010 and shall complete on 12 Jan 2015 for a total value at about QR675million


Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of survey and setting out information submitted and accomplish by the Contractor. Observed and record that the line and level of contractor works meets the contract specifications and matches the intent of the IFC drawings.

Daily Activities:
• Monitor and reviews topographic and other pre-construction survey work to ensure it meets the requirements of the client.
• Monitor all survey control points setup utilized by the Contractor during the execution of the works.
• Monitor and check the quality of the Contractor surveying activities.
• Coordinate with the ARE/RE on a daily basis, inform them for all the deviations from the specifications and revealed during site operations. Ensures that the work recommended for approval is in compliances with the latest approved documents, specifications and FCR’s.
• Investigate report and advice on ARE/ RE for unusual circumstances that may arise during construction works.
• Responsible in reviewing any FCR (Field Change Request) Submitted by the contractor and comment before issuing.
• Inspection and daily site survey activities include 1.) As-built alignment and elevation of Vitrified Clay Pipe laid between manhole stretches. 2.) As-built joint survey and inspection of Manhole formation, blinding, base invert level, setout checking/ as-built coordinate of location prior to cast in-situ or installation precast base. Manhole inspection includes checking of backdrop and built-in ports elevation. 3.) Check as-built alignment and elevation for Micro-tunneling set-out Laser prior to core. As-built elevation of Micro-tunnel end pipe prior to concrete grouting. 4.) Alignment and elevation of pipe laid for house connection, live connection and as-built location of inspection chambers installed for lateral connection. 5. ) Designated to check all structure layout alignment and elevation for setting-out and as-built in Pumping Station (PS 44A). That to ensure all as-built elevations is within the hydraulics design calculation, project technical specification and conformance within latest FCR’s.

Project : Development of Al Ruwais Port (Phase 2)

The project involves construction and development of Al Ruwais Port Marine Facilities for Fishing Harbour, demolition, dredging, and reclamation disposal works, Revetment and Breakwater, Quaywall, navigational aids and boatlift dock.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Inspection and checking for the existing control points which establish by third party surveys.
• Joint survey measurements for monthly progress and monthly pay estimate for the dredging, excavation and reclamation works.
• Inspection surveys of alignment and elevation for the excavation, base-level and installation of quaywalls, breakwater and revetments and to ensure within the project specific tolerances.

Supervision for the construction of Qatar Shipping Industry which includes 10 nos. main steel industrial buildings, 3 nos. of people building, 8 substations, 8 nos. of gatehouse and 2 nos. of paint stores. People building and steel building works includes checking of setting outs of points/ alignment and levels for pile cap foundation, steel column verticality alignment and base plate levels. Beam setout alignment and pre and post pour checking of column verticality, beam alignment and levels, slab setout levels and thickness, cladding alignment and verticality, staircase relative alignment of threads and risers, verticality and straightness of handrails, drywall partitions, ceilings and finishing. Responsible for monitoring of asbuilt alignment and elevations of crane beams and portals, side girths levels, portal railways, platforms elevation, alignment and levels of canopy trusses, floor beams/ edge trim levels and deviations level of trusses for steel buildings.
Engaged in supervision of External Works which in includes survey checking for setout/ asbuilts alignment and elevation for subgrade, subbase, external slab pavement for roadways, 2.4 km gaticslotdrain drainage system, storm water drainage piping and manholes, foul line and manholes, 115 nos. of Light Voltage drawpits, 130 nos. of Data and communication drawpits, 106 nos. of High Voltage drawpits, cctv mast foundation, lamp post and high mast foundations, valve chamber for chemical piping, fire mains, potable water and industrial water piping, curb line, fence line. Supervision also for checking the setout/ asbuilts for alignment and elevation for chemical pipes which includes LPG line, Compressed air, Carbon dioxide, Argon, Oxygen and etc.

Project : Salwa International Highway Phase 1
Doha, State of Qatar

Supervision of the QR2.4 Billion Salwa International Highway Project, A project of the Roads Department, Public Works Authority, conversion of the existing 87 Km long highway to an international expressway 4 lanes dual-carriageway with 12 bridges and interchanges, 3 camel crossing, 6 location of weigh stations and frontage roads, Major work are: 7.5 million cubic meter embankment works, construction of 4.5 Million cubic pavement, 18 nos. Qatar Petroleum Road Cross Culverts to cover existing gas pipe lines, water main pipe lines, sewerage system, electrical and telephone cables, electrical substations, feeder pillars and ducts, intelligent traffic systems, cross drains, street lighting systems and utilities road crossing protection.
Inspect survey works during construction to verify that they are in accordance with the method of statements, works procedures, construction specifications and construction drawings. Survey works includes alignment and elevation checking of earthworks, asphalt/pavement woks, roadway alignment lay out, check and inspect asphalt road merging/matching lines, road markings setouts, guardrails, ditches slopes, soak away, interchange landscaping, QP culverts layout and levels for reinforcement bars, underground ducts and pipes crossing and corridors, Q-tell, drainage, intelligent traffic system, street lights works inspection of as built trenching for 123Km 11kv, 13.6Km 66kv and 117Km street lighting cables, as built of 2145 Nos. of street lighting pole foundation for different height of 30 and 14 meter, 11kv and package substation, water works and treatment sewerage effluent.

To conduct soil survey analysis and Mapping throughout the region. Allocate and establish points of observation coordinates to site thru soil drawing maps.

Project : Conservation and Demarcation of Northern Sierra Madre Mountains
Natural Park

Designated as a survey team leader of Socialize and Integrated Forest Management Agreement (SIFMA). Organize flow of survey works with the team and the beneficiaries to achieve set time frames. Conduct 2nd class control cadastral survey and segregation survey of boundary claim to Plan beneficiaries. Mapping and subdivision of boundaries, relocation project for land boundaries with the previous lot boundaries for final settlement of areas thru beneficiaries/claimant/ holders and SIFMA contract. Run survey traverse for secondary control for horizontal angles. Apply correction for least tolerance for distance. Establishing control points to the route of boundary lines of the SIFMA holders. Relocate adjacent lot/ land boundaries base on technical description wherein integrate dispute lands unto new boundaries with the full presence of lot beneficiaries/ claimant/ holders on site.
