iDtv Digital is a global multimedia agency, specialized in managing and creating daily/monthly content for Corporate TVs in remote locations as a means to increase internal communication; specifically, the oil and gas industry to promote employee achievements, safety, and internal/external news.
As iDtv's Managing Director, based in Dubai, and responsible for 15 countries in Northern Europe, Africa, Middle-East, and Asia, I was accountable for the following tasks:
* Opening both of iDtv's Middle-East offices in Dubai (Dubai South and Dubai Media City freezones).
* Interviewing, training, and managing a multilingual team of journalists, videographers, and business developers.
* Point of contact to run our Content Management System (CMS) for our clients.
* Collaborate with iDtv's USA and Brazil offices to provide our international clients with standardized digital content.
* Reviewing videos, animations, scripts, storyboards before submission to clients.
* Management of company social media.
* Complete autonomy and responsibility for salaries, cash flows, forecasts, invoicing, and management of multi-million dollar bank accounts in different currencies.
* Leading teams for business proposals, business plans, and marketing strategies.
* Travel on a monthly basis either abroad or within the UAE to meet clients and understand their requirements for upcoming projects.
* Filmed, edited, and used After Effects to create motion graphic animations to make 8 instructional videos on how to use Western Leaf products.
* Collaborated with the product development team to conceptualize 7 new hardware products before manufacturing. Used Autodesk Maya to build 3D visualizations for each as concepts for clients and investors.
* Modeled and rendered 3D images of Western Leaf's kiosk before its construction, which demoed products for GITEX 2014 (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition).
* Produced, Directed, and edited twenty music videos, commercials, and short films up to fifteen minutes long for clients including Next Big Thing Magazine, BMW, Parktown Studios Inc, Raqsaat Zaffe Group, and Rafidain Jewelry.
* Interviewed on Canada’s capital city’s #1 morning show, CTV Ottawa Morning Live to promote work.
* Filmed and edited twelve commercials and public service announcements (PSA) up to five-minutes long for new hospital products and services, using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop.
* Broadcasted videos on the hospital website, YouTube channel, and HealthAchieve conference with 7K-attendees.
Sui Juris is a short film I have self-funded and hired over 30 individuals to help with the production.
* Writer (3-months of research to write an accurate depiction of dialogue and history of 1860 North Carolina).

* Insure and responsible for over $100K of equipments-i.e., RED cameras
* Interviewing and hiring actors and crew
* Optimize scheduling of everything to maintain the most cost-effective production
* Directing the short film
* Hire a maestro to create an orchestral piece from scratch for the movie
* Video editing, VFX creation, foley creation, audio remastering, colour correction
* DVD creation with a menu: chapters, behind the scenes, image gallery, movie
* Submit to film festivals across the globe
The Interactive Multimedia and Design (IMD) program from Carleton provides multidisciplinary education in diverse, yet connected, subject matter such as: computer animation and video effects, game design and development, virtual reality systems, graphic design, 3D visualization, human computer interaction (HCI) and electronic commerce. Their education has focused on the entire design process from initial concept all the way through to final realisation. The IMD program is aimed at students who have a potential for being artistically creative and technologically adept; students who have a keen interest in designing the next generation of multimedia rich applications and products.
