Project : Paving IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity) - US Air Force, Al Udeid Air Base (Construction of Asphalt Pavements, Parking, Utilities, Walkways, Runway, Taxiways, Road Maintenance and Concrete Works - February 01, 2018 to June 15, 2023)
Project : Construct Iron Ore & Sand Storage Building (handled Concrete works for building slabs, foundation and pedestal, tunnel for hopper machine material transfer & surface waters and electrical duct banks) - Um Al Houl, Qatar Free Zone (May 01, 2023 to September 28, 2023)
Project : Chancery Exterior and Flagpole Car Park Repair - American Embassy, Doha, Qatar (November 28, 2023 to December 28, 2023)
Duties in Brief:
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time & within scope
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
• Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
• Use and continually develop leadership skills
• Attend meetings and trainings as required by the project
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
• Prepare gatepasses for all manpower and vehicles working inside the AUAB
• Produce/review shop drawings & amend changes as necessary, calculate the material required of the project and prepare as-built drawings
• Prepare technical submission documents as required of the project
Project : Steigenberger Hotel Doha Project - Airport Road (3 Basement + Ground Floor + 7 Storey Building) handled structural works - July 15, 2017 - up to present
Project : Construction of Horse Owner’s Complex Phase II - Al Khor (handled all Infrastructure works such as drainage, water supply, fire fighting, storm water & soakaways systems, HV & LV cables, landscapes and Road works) - October 4, 2015 to July 14, 2017
Project : Construction of Dukhan Housing Project Phase IX - Qatar Petroleum Township (handled Structural works) - January 13, 2013 to October 3, 2015
Project : Barwa Commercial Avenue (handled Infrastructure works such as Sewer Line, Potable Water, Soakaways, Retaining Wall, Irrigation line Systems, Road Works and Soft & Hard Landscapes) - April 1, 2010 to January 12, 2013
• Setting out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification
• Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for foreman and subcontractors
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect
• Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
• Communicating with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors)
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site
• Preparing reports as required
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
Project : Qatar Shell Pearl GTL Plant - Ras Laffan (January 1, 2008 to March 31, 2010)
Duties in Brief :
• Support loading and unloading operations, including roll-on and roll- off operations
• Coordinate with the main contractor and supervise work at the job site.
• Reviewing of subcontractor’s method statements for the transportation of heavy cargos.
• Preparation of PTW (Permit-To-Work) prior to execution of work at site.
• Preparation of all written correspondence with respect to contractual issues i.e., site instructions, claims for damage materials, etc.
• Liaising to contractor materials department for reconciliation of over and short deliveries of materials on site.
• Preparation of daily and weekly reports.
• Coordinated to head office for the control of records at site.
Project : Fabrication of Potable Cabins, Guard Tower, Tower Lights (June 12, 2007 to December 15, 2007)
Duties in Brief :
• Monitoring and administering the QA/QC Plan or Programme and ensuring incorporated materials on projects are in compliance with the plans and specifications.
• Assuring the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the project work
• Issue materials receiving report for the delivered materials
• Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System requirements
• Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.
• Preparing method of statements, ITP’s and inspection request.
• Conducts pre-inspection prior to final inspection of the client representative
Assigned as a substitute teacher and handling Physics 2 (Mechanics and Heat) and Mathematics (Advance College Algebra and Analytic Geometry) for the students taking up courses such as Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology.
