1. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly and yearly in-house reports, including Profit and Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (B/S), and Cash Flow (CF) statements
Lead the yearly audit process to ensure compliance and accuracy.
2. Banking and Financial Negotiations: Responsible for all negotiations with banks, including availing new facilities and meeting bank requirements, perform bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity and Prepare trade finance Letters of Credit (LCs), Trust Receipts (TRs), and guarantees.
3. Cash Flow Management: Manage company cash flow to ensure optimal financial liquidity.
Develop and oversee budgeting and company financial strategies.
4. Project Finance: Review new project contracts and collaborate with the Commercial Team.
Prepare monthly payment applications for projects.
Manage accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P).
5. Internal Controls and Compliance: Ensure that all financial entries comply with the regulations set forth by the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) for VAT filing.
Conduct monthly internal audits to maintain financial accuracy.
6. Vendor and Supplier Relations: Negotiate payment terms with suppliers to optimize cash flow management.
Review the Wage Protection System (WPS) file before processing to guarantee accurate and timely payments.
7. Team Leadership: Supervise the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support.
Manage the companys collection cycle from all projects.
8. Software Proficiency: Utilize QuickBooks or similar accounting software to maintain financial records.
