• Established the new construction company and prequalified it with SEC Distribution and NG for 132kV Substations, OHL, and underground Cables Projects.
• Project Manager for Al-Haditha Generation Station 12MG
• 33/13.8kV SADEA Substation SEC-EOA
Lead all aspects of project execution including scope, schedule, and budget; ensure quality control of deliverables;
Analyze and communicate project status, risks, schedule, and costs to all internal and external stakeholders; lead
Multi-discipline teams of engineers and analysts; plan, organize, and communicate project personnel needs to lead
Department. Leadership: Mentor and train less experienced staff.
Project Management for Electrical and I&C work in Waad AlShamal Combined Cycle Power Plan

- Processing of order acknowledgement and change order
- Monitoring drawing approvals and documentation status
- Securing order checklist acknowledgement from Sales Engineer and Production
- Consolidating P.O. commercial and technical comments from Sales and Engineering Dept. and sending acknowledgement.
- Preparation of Project Schedule.
- Monitoring of project / job status to ensure that contractual delivery dates are met
- Provide project / job status update to customers.
- Coordinating with production staff to expedite delivery.
- Coordinating with QA for inspection schedule and status and secure inspection release.
- Coordinating with Design Engineers to expedite production release and NMRs.
Coordinate between disciplines, departments, project teams and return review comments on submittals
done by SEC for the contract packages.
-Coordinate DCN’s. Review and ensure quality and SEC standards requirements.
-Preparation of technical submittals & drawings for SEC-EOA review and approval:
1. Base Design Submission.
2. Detail Design Submission.
3. Outage Schedule.
- Perform site visits with requesting departments and subcontractors and plan the approach to execute the project.
-Utilize computer and computer codes to review designs performed by Designer, if requested.
-Coordinate support to Construction and ensure timely issuing of DCN's and IFC.
-Perform general activities such as preparation of reports, letters, outage request and submittals.
-Coordinate resolution of any engineering issues in a timely manner to avoid impact to construction.
-Monitor schedule of design and ensure timely completion of all activities to support construction and overall schedule.
-Monitor and assign work to Site Engineers.
- Estimating project resource requirements (manpower, materials, financial).
- Preparation of Invoices.
Responsible for execution of electrical and instrumentation installtion activities, Manage installation related documentation exchanges and requirements for specific projects, Manage and on occasion perform return to service commissioning of all plant, interface with commissioning staff. Prepare high quality reports and presentations for review process
Manage Construction and Commissioning in Combined Cycle Power Plant (3x750mw) for the following:
- Internal Substation 500/220 kV
o 500 kV switchyard: Complete erection, commissioning, tests, and start up
Of switchyard equipment, control system, and protection. Two OHTL 500kV Double
Circuit 4 bundle. (AE Japan & Conisys Company, AREVA Control System & Protection Panels)
o 220 kV Switchyard: Complete erection, commissioning, tests, and start up of switchyard equipment, control system, and protection. Four OHTL 220kV double circuit 2 bundle (ABB High Voltage Relay & Control Panels, AREVA Control System).
-- Gas Turbine Generator: Complete erection, Commissioning, Tests, and Start up (SIEMENS).
- Electrical installation & commissioning of all electrical systems in the Power Plant.
-Water and Wastewater treatment plant: Complete Installation of Electrical & Instrumentation Equipments (Metito Company).
- DCS of the power plant complete installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, tests, and start up (Alstom Company). Completes thorough system walk downs/reviews to establish the completion status of systems and identify outstanding items to be completed.
Responsible lead for plant equipment and systems within the engineer’s discipline capacity. The primary point-of-contact for all system functions through startup and operation of the plant. Activities include:
o Verifying systems are installed per design.
o Confirming design operational feasibility.
O Recording as built engineering changes on drawings.
O Ensuring proper setup and testing of equipment as per supplier requirements.
Electrical Projects Engineer for several kinds of electrical projects in Petroleum Companies and factories especially for electrical distribution systems, ATS Panels and power factor correction Panels, Fire alarm systems and Explosion Proof Systems.
• Prepare bill of quantities for the projects. • Prepare technical and commercial bid offer.
• Attending site survey, meeting and prepare reports • Identifying costumer requirements.
