Develop the research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing
products and study potential of new products.
2. Resume responsibility for the research and development process starting from product
concept, preparing prototype sample, laboratory testing, and final approval to invest in
the developed product to ensure conformity to requirement and fitness for use.
3. Understand customer expectations on to be manufactured product.
4. Assess the requirements for new products based on the market needs in cooperation with
Sales & Marketing department and selected customers sample.
5. Improving our product range and keeping the product range up to date (formulation &
packing) with the new trends in technology and phase out obsolete products.
6. Develop and design different types of new packing specifications ( material, dimensions,
design, text, claims, etc.. ).
7. Perform periodic competitor’s market samples collection, evaluate and records the
analysis comparison.
8. Coordinate with concerned departments to update the product range with the developed
product, e.g. Sales to promote the product, Marketing for drawings and specifications,
Purchase Department for sourcing suppliers and procurement, etc.
9. Oversee the evaluation of new components in accordance with design specifications in
coordination with production, purchase and quality control departments.
10. Develop material technical data sheets and material safety data sheet.
11. Provide technical assistance to customers.
12. Assist in updating the company catalogues and brochures.
13. Submit periodical reports to management showing the status of R&D progress.
Research & Development (R&D) in charge:
