• Responsible for QC activities of site, arranging and providing support for inspectors at Sub-contractors.
• Monitoring the welding process, site erection activity and electrode storages, handling and issuing.
• Assure that the minimum preheat and post weld heat treatments are performed in accordance with the qualified welding procedures.
• Reviewing the WPS for SMAW, GTAW process according to ASME Sec-IX Standard for Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel and Dissimilar Material.
• Witness of NDT (RT, PAUT & DPT) activities as specified in codes, standards and vendor documents.
• Manage and monitor Sub-contractor Site Representatives to ensure that Sub-contractor quality team work efficiently and effectively at site.
• Issue NCRs for violation found during inspection.
• Preparation of Hydrostatic Test Packages and Pneumatic Test reports.
• Knowledge of ASME CODES (Section l, Section IX, Section V, Section II Part-C, B 31.1)
• Knowledge of AWS CODES (AWSD1.1)
• Reviewing the WPS for SMAW, FCAW process according to AWS D1.1 Standard for Carbon Steel Material.
• Witness of NDT (UT & DPT) activities as specified in codes, standards and vendor documents.
• Visual inspection and dimensional check of completed weldment against specification requirements and drawings.
• Verification of correctness of welding consumables (electrodes, filler wires, consumable inserts, gases, fluxes etc.)

As the company’s Quality Co-ordinator, responsibilities include ensuring that all health and safety procedures are carried out correctly according to local, national and international legislation.
This role usually involves attending external QHSE meetings as the company’s representative. Also responsible for all documentation in relation to health and safety and you will be required to keep all documentation and safety manuals up to date and distribute appropriately within the organisation.
In addition to prepare policies and procedures for the company’s health and safety programme, which must meet quality and certification in ISO 9000, 14000 and 18000.
Usually responsiblities include ensuring all safety training is carried out and induction programmes for new employees includes a thorough QHSE element and be part of any emergency response team or disaster recovery team in the event of an incident.
In addition to attend internal meetings regarding the company’s safety policies and procedures as well as ensure continuity of the quality and manpower requirements of policies in the interests of the company.
