Watch out for fire hazards in the workplace while work is performed by other workers.
Maintain the conditions and requirements stated on the permit to work and the job hazard analysis (JHA).
Keep flammable materials from ignition sources.
In the event of fire, extinguish it immediately or turn a fire alarm on.
Call LCS or the Fire Safety Senior in case of Emergency.
Stop operations if you find any hazardous condition.
Make sure you and other employees are aware of the exact location of fire fighting equipment in the immediate area.
Maintain constant means of communication.
As much as possible, keep visual and voice contact with other employees.
Before and during each shift, inspect the entire work area and look for potential release of flammable vapors or liquids.
Be prepared to operate fire extinguishers, hydrants, fixed monitors, and hose carts anytime.
Never leave the job site while the work is being done. If you have to leave, stop the job and notify workers that you are “standing-by-for”.
When all operations are done, do not leave the worksite unless you’re sure that there are no hot sparks, burning embers and other fire hazards. Return all fire fighting equipment to their original location.
To develop, implementing and monitor Board Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Programs and procedure.
Ensure that the company has at all times capability and resources to operate safely.
Housekeeping, materials handling & storage, fire safety, electrical safety, machine safety, personal protective equipment, safety and health inspection, accident investigation, industrial hygiene, workplace hazards and their ill effects and occupational safety and health legislation.
Responsible for implementing and evaluating category safety plans which help to minimize accidents.
Attending Regular walk - thru with client and the managers.
Develops, communicates and implements a cost effective, strategic safety program.
Attend monthly meeting and reporting of HSE performance, safety accidents and any incidents related to project.
Ensure that all injuries, accidents, incidents/near misses and hazard are correctly and timely reported.
Write a daily safety report including any related risk assessment.

Conduct toolbox meeting on ACC staff and Workers.
Organized educational activities for safety officers/engineers as well as the supervisors in all departments.

Ensure that the company has, at all times, the capability and resources to operate safely.
Monitor the underground facilities.
