1. Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet the deadline.
2. Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
3. Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulation.
4. Prepare the necessary equipment for construction.
1. Record data for daily process, prepare daily quality reports.
2. Deliver all related documents and records.
3. Maintain daily reports, certificate of inspection test (CIT) and log the daily activities.
4. Review company specifications, drawings, method statement, QC procedures and inspection.
5. To attend quality tour and make a report of some defects on site.
6. Post concrete inspection- check form work removal, curing, checks for honey comb or cracks.
7. Use survey instruments, metering devices, tape measures, and test equipment, such as concrete strength measures, to perform inspections.
8. Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, elevation of structure and fixtures to ensure compliance to building plans and codes.
9. Inspect and monitor construction sites to ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes and specifications
1. Supervising tendering procedures and putting together proposals;
2. Managing, supervising and visiting contractors on site and advising on civil engineering issues
3. Check weekly accomplishment reports and monthly billing or invoice (B.O.Q.) of the contractor.
4. Reviewing and approving project drawings;
5. Conduct inspection and signing the request for inspection (RFI).
