- Developing HSE Commissioning Manual for Ammonia & Urea Plants
- Leading the Commissioning Team to ensure the implementation and compliance with the developed HSE Manual and design requirements.
- Development & Implementation of Self Assurance Schedule (Audit schedule aligned with site commissioning activities)
- Follow up and ensure that the Contractor is complying with and is following all the HSE regulations and procedures.
- Take active role in incident investigations & Coordinate the safety officers activities on site in an effective manner
- Ensure the project development & implementation as per design
- Lead the project Risk Assessment such as introduction of gas and ammonia to Ammonia 5& 6, etc
- Actively participate in all relevant HSE meetings
- Coordinate with contractor HSE Specific Campaigns
- Follow up contractors with regards to interpretation and proper implementation of the contract documents.
- Plan, carry out and report HSE surveillance activities when required.
- Coordinate interface with QAFCO Safety and all other authorities.
- Cover Commissioning activities.
- Ensure implementation of safety design requirements

- to have a responsibilities to for assess ting the head of section implementing OH&S Management system in the organization also coordinate and follow up of OH&S Management system in the line with OHSAS-18001 standard requirement and responsible care management system RC 14001 standard requirement and activity and implementation .
- accident prevention measures and prevention program, Prevention of training and all over safety equipment in QAFCO to comply with QAFCO OH&S Environment and Quality Management system and assist Head of section in fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of the section and contribute with control the section budget.
- involve with project and production with Maintenance departments in all the projects also involve in the Shutdown as an overall safety coordinator
- Planes a yearly section safety activity in the field area.
- monitor work relationship, team work.
- coordinate the activity with the group during any shutdown with emergency.
- Work closely with all QAFCO level to promote safety.
- Coordinate and communicate with all field engineers also to other engineers in order to ensure smooth and efficient delivery job requirement.
- Timely reporting the incident and observations to the management meeting (QASEC & Management review meeting).
- identify and review the occupational health and safety hazard and carry out the risk assessment of the activity on the field.
- control the efficiency and suitability of safety and firefighting appliances, system and report malfunctions or shortage in its performance.
- Lead the fire brigade in fire fighting and rescue operation during major incidents and coordinate this activity with the incident controller during emergency.
- Lead my group to refresh session with training.
