• Carrying out the negotiations & handling the purchase of the production machineries for both local and international suppliers in close collaboration with the Head of Supply Chain
• Formulating the annual budgets and short-term plans as needed to progress business changes
• Responsible for monitoring monthly, quarterly & yearly production & maintenance costs to ensure they are controlled and within budget
• Looked after the inventory management of factory consumables, having adequate inventory by stock and replenishing it based on demand/supply forecasts for resolving distribution related issues, reported by regions
• Performed the process study & analysed to eliminate rejection causes with the help of different quality tools (0 detect)
• Handled the sourcing of all the production related materials from reputable suppliers to reduce the cost without affecting the quality
As Plant In-Charge
• Carried out the predictive & preventive maintenance schedules to increase machine up time & equipment reliability.
• Handled the implementation of maintenance schedules & conducted periodic checks to ensure performance of various equipment and maintained requisite documents for the same
• Made sure that the quality assurance programs were in place that provides quality finished goods to the specifications agreed
• Initiated the efforts to ensure that the basic food hygiene practices (GMPS and GHPS) are observed and safe working procedure was being followed (conducted periodic HACCP and Food Safety Audits)
As Process Engineer
• Monitored the performance of the team members to ensure efficiency in process operations and meeting of individual & group targets
• Looked after the production status and ensured that the procedures & systems are followed to adhere with the compliance norms with desired quality & on time delivery of orders
