I perform production related Quality Asssurance/Quality Control analyses as well as a wide variety of Chemical and Instrumental analyses to support the plant site. I am reponsible for process and finished product sample analyses, in addition to Environmental effluent sampling. I am a member of the Quality Control Unit that is reponsible for the release of finished product for shipment in which I directly or indirectly interface with the Logistics/Shipping Department, Safety Health and Environmental Dept., Operators and Loading Specialists.

Duties: Analysis of final product using Spectro Ciros Vision Inductive Coupled Plasma(ICP), 6890 Gas Chromatography, Apollo 9000 Combustion TOC Analyzer, ICS 2100 Ion Chromatography, 715 Dosimat Titrators, Balances, pH Meters, Turbidity Meters and other lab instruments. Leadership is provided in the areas of safety and work team developement which supports a positive and professional work environment within the laboratory/plant. I have a leading role in the execution of the Laboratory Standard Compliance Program as the Chemical Hygiene officer. Involved with non routine analytical activities setting up new equipment and special project work. Various administrative duties which includes SRM Requisitions, data entry, COA generation on final product analysis, ISO 9001 record keeping and audits.

Chemical Hygiene Officer: Reponsible for the overall management and support of the facility's Laboratory Compliance Program by monitoring SDS's, and the procurement, use and disposal of all Lab chemicals. Monthly and quarterly Air Flow Hood monitoring, Lab Inspections, Chemical Inventory and many other duties to maintain and help it to operate safely, and within compliance.
