• Carry out regular surveillance inspections for QC activities on site and that of subcontractors.
• Carry out regular inspections for material reception.
• Identify nonconformities and raise Non-conformance Reports.
• Ensure corrective measures are taken to avoid repetitions of non-conformances.
• Ensure Preventive actions are taken to avoid potential non-conformances.
• Ensure all quality records required by the contract and the Inspection Test Plan are maintained on site.
• Interact and agree on all quality related issues with QA/QC Manager.
• Ensure the necessary planning and resources to do all inspections and tests required.
• Ensure all inspections are done as per Inspection and Test Plan / Contract and that these are documented on pre-defined formats / check sheets.
• Ensure proper interaction and coordination with Consultant / Client, Third Party Testing Laboratory and Third Party Inspection Agency and Site Team for project coordination. Ensure all incoming materials are inspected, as approved and stored properly as recommended.
• Provide appropriate information to prepare statistical analysis for the inspections / tests.
• Ensure and coordinating for the subcontractor quality control / implementation on site.
• Responsible for reviewing all quality records on site and retaining them in handover files.
• Assist during Internal Quality Audits on site.
• Implement and maintaining the Inspection and Testing Plan - ITP on site.
• Ensure the necessary planning and resources to do all inspections and tests required.
• Identify areas of improvement and initiate improvement actions.
• Lead a group of a QAQC staff
• Implement the QA/QC management system at site
• Coordinate quality inspections to all the sub-contractors and vendors
• Coordinate all non-destructive testing on site
• Coordinate with the customers representative on all quality matters
• Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards
• Participate in the site internal and external audits
• Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and competed for as-built handover through the QC
turnover engineer
• Complete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses
• Review the customers specification and undertake relevant training to all QAQC staff
• Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed on or offsite.
• Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.
• Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and site in-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of non-compliance report.
• Reporting to the QA/QC Manager.
• Control, and monitor all activities related to quality management system
• Taking care of QA/QC documents for the entire duration of the project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
• Responsible for the closure of non-conformance, NCR and site Instruction.
• Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to civil, architectural and structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
• Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection test plan and checklist based on specifications of the project.
• Carry out Internal and external audit on the project as scheduled in the project quality plan, PQP.
• Liaise the technical engineer for submission of material submittals to Consultant.
• Organize, implement, conduct and manage the QA/QC Programs as per the company's quality policy.
• Coordinate the document controls of technical submittals, drawings, etc. with the project team and to ensure that the QA/QC validation has been done, to ensure their issue, amendments and recall of controlled documents.
• Coordinate all inspections, monitor the required tests and record inspections and tests made as per the contract plan and contract specifications.
• Liaise with the client's representatives for the conduct of day-to-day quality related project activities.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected and/or cancel the stop work order upon satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.
• Provide technical support to the Project Manager and guidance to site staff in submission of materials for approval, request for inspection, shop drawings, As-built drawings, O & M manual.
• Assist QA/QC Manager in conducting internal quality audits.
• Ensure that Non-Conformance report (NCR) are raised once the activities deviated from the Contract Specifications or normal construction industry practices.
• Coordinate with the project staff to compile and maintain pertinent records of inspection and testing until end of the contract and all pertinent records for retention on completion of the project.
• Attend Monthly Project review meetings (PRM) and alert the project team of any potential problems.
• Project Management

• To check if materials being used are approved or specified on the specification and check if proper sequence of work have been observed
• Conduct stop work order if the quality of works is below standard. Issues penalties and order submission of corrective action and prevention plan from the contractor to correct the non-conformance
• Coordination with end user, LGU and contractor
• Weekly and monthly preparation of work progress report
• As representative to the owner, Interpret Plans, Performs as a guardian and arbiter between the owner and contractor. Coordinates and supervises all construction groups involved in the project
• Perform quality inspection for all specified materials and check’s it’s proper installation from
• Structural preparations up to architectural finishes
• Conducts on and off site testing.
• Responsible in programming, planning and scheduling of all Construction activities, maintaining and evaluating contract documents and recommending qualified bidders for materials and services needed in the project.
• To act as the representative of the owner and design architect and conducts inspection every day.
• Submit monthly report to the owner, architect as well as progress report and percentage completion of the project.
• Supervision of rectification works and testing
• Daily site surveillance and report any non-conformance finding to qaqc manager
• In-charge for Noncompliance, site memos physical closure with the clerk of work
• Check if materials delivered to site is in accordance to contracts and specifications.
• Safekeeping and filing of all qaqc documents
