My role is to assure the follow-up of multiple complicated postoperative cases. Responsible for a caseload of patients where I must coordinate their care during their stay at our facility and upon their return home. I also take care of patients overseas and collaborate with their resources. I support the Recovery Centre unit and help develop their nursing skills by supervising the cares given and providing relevant information and knowledge.

- Member of the employee committee where I brought up ideas resulting in a better work environment and reduced our consumption of paper.

- Treating patients experiencing hyper granulation with silver nitrate. Implemented a new plan of care to increase the number of treatments provided by the postoperative clinic resulting in faster healing of hyper granulation in our patients.

- Evaluate 24h post-mastectomy patients, assess for any sign of complications (hematoma, infection), and teach postoperative care.

- Working in close collaboration with several departments at the same time and with the surgeons resulting in faster and more efficient follow-up with the patients.
