Supervise overall financial operations of the company by implementing best accounting practices.
Prepare, interpret and analyse the Financial Reports of the company on monthly, quarterly, biannually, and annually basis. Also prepare Group Accounts on annual basis.
Give decision-making input to the top management in light of financial reports.
Act as internal auditor of the company.
Arrange finance/lease facilities for the company at competitive rates from different financial institution as and when required by the organization.
Prepare annual budget and its comparative analysis with previous years.
Prepare projected Profit & Loss account on the basis of next year's sales targets.
Prepare critical analysis of sales department performance through their Target Vs Achievement sheets, GOLY (Growth Over Last Year) working, and their ROI (Return on Investment) with regard to the promotional expenditure done on different doctors and institutions.
Prepare feasibility reports on new projects, and product launches. Special mention in this regard is the feasibility of a proposed marketing joint venture with Julphar International, Dubai.
Plan overall production, and provide quarterly forecast to the production department.
Also act as company secretary (dual charge), conduct Annual General, Extra Ordinary General and Board of Directors’ Meeting, give corporate presentations, prepare resolutions passed by the board of directors, and look after all other corporate issues relating to SECP.
Responsible for drafting all important correspondence of the CEO and the Director Finance.
Deal with government agencies like EOBI, Labour and Tax Departments.
Handle all matters relating to income tax and sales tax.
I was involved in preparing and establishing of a unique daily Sales Monitoring System (SMS) for the company.
Also involve in preparing and finalizing the HR documents and policies, like appointment letter, leave policy, incentive policy etc.
Played major role in establishing the overall Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) manual for the company.
For first seven years, I was also responsible for overall distribution department. I managed day-to-day operations with 39 distributors across the country from Swat to Quetta and established their discount and expiry claim settlement procedures, which are still in practice.
I am also responsible for inventory management and warehouse operations.
Deal with all kinds of vendors providing raw and packing materials, printers, hotels, travel agents etc.
Managed two annual sales conferences of the company; one at Shogran in 2008 and the other in Nathiya Gali in 2010.
I am a complete package of being "Operational Head" of an organization.
I am also doing my ACMA (eight papers are cleared) from Institute of Cost and Management Accounts of Pakistan (ICMAP), LAHORE. besides this I have done following training: Attended training workshop on “Wonderful at Selling-Wonderful at life” by an international trainer, Mr Sultan Khan, under the RAYS Training & Development Systems, Lahore. Attended and participated in a training workshop on “Self Discipline” by Mr Sultan Khan, under the RAYS Training & Development Systems, Lahore.
