Logistics Coordination
Handle logistical processes, including coordination with vendors, warehouse and shippers.
Coordinate shipments going to customers in coordination with the Sales Department for the shipment information. Assure that shipments meet customer’s requirements.
Assist the Logistics Manager and Supervisor in their day to day operations and departmental procedures to coordinate with suppliers and internal departments.
Generate reports (stock report, destruction details report etc.) from database as requested.
Administration
Ability to ensure smooth functioning of the department in handling day-to-day transactions.
Introduce and maintain an effective system and database that facilitates data retrieval.
Assert strict confidentially of documents complying with company ethics.
Interface with different business units to maintain effective business functions.
Handle multiple priorities and ensure timely follow up of critical issues.
• Performing routine & random inventory checkup of locations.
• Monitor the Annual Physicals being in an INVENTORY & STOCK CONTROL team.
• Preparing reports, update day to day stock take activities and mailing to respective Brand Merchandisers.
• Receive the shipment from different suppliers by using Warehouse Management System (ILS) software.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and statutory norms on warehouse operation..
• Directing all aspects of daily logistics operations involving receiving, picking, packing, delivery, and reverse logistics as well as staff deployment and target setting.
• Facilitating and ensuring smooth workflow in the department towards achieving set goals.
• Monitoring inventory and carrying out cyclic counts while checking picking success & delivery accuracy.
• Experienced in standard procedures like Receiving, Put away, Picking, Packing & Closing.
Completed Ms Office suite in Aptech computer education, INDIA.
