Credit manager
Work with the SBI Project Manager to manage daily project activities related to bank partners. Provide back-up support to the Financial Advisor assigned to the microfinance partners.
• Serve as primary relationship management with assigned bank partners on a day-to-day basis. • Coordinate, work directly with and support senior advisors to design, prepare and deliver focused general and specific technical training, including industry workshops, focused technical seminars, one-to-one training and mentoring, and coaching for bank partners. The technical assistance should be in accordance with defined Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs) and work plans, in coordination with SBI Senior Advisors and AED/ESAF project leadership. • Define and develop individual short-term technical assistance Scopes of Work (STTA SOWs) for assigned technical assistance work plans, in coordination with SBI Team and AED/ESAF project leadership. • Work closely with SBI Project Team and Project Director to monitor progress on assigned bank partner work plans, as well as the overall SBI Financial Services component work plan, and troubleshoot obstacles and challenges, as necessary. • Provide input for all SBI reports on the activities of the partner banks (weekly bullet points, quarterly reports with indicators from all the partners, donor reports and other reports requested by AED). Provide input on project success stories and other public relations reports on the partner bank activities. • Contribute to proposal and business development efforts by SBI for the broader MENA region. • Undertake any other relevant assignments as requested by the Project Head.

1. Extensive professional experience in audit, accounting and tax consulting to manufacturing, trading, pharmaceuticals and banking. 2. Engaged in providing full scope audit, due diligence services for different industries in line with performing normal audit procedures (inspecting and reviewing accounts through handling substantive and analytical examination for balances, audit services are provided in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards). 3. Preparation of financial statements in conformity with International Financial Reporting Standards. Special assignments related to valuation of personal properties and performing the proper accounting treatment related to investments in securities, portfolios and real estates.
1) Processing credit applications by conducting: i) Credit Analysis. ii) Financial Analysis, based on a) analyzing the components of balance sheets as well as the income statements for profitability, liquidity and leverage, b) Monitoring the clients’ businesses ability to generate cash by checking the net cash flow from operations. iii) Loan Documentation and closing by obtaining and evaluating a) the Evidence of authority to borrow b)Evidence of Debt c) Evidence of terms and conditions d) Evidence of collateral. iv) Negotiating credit proposals with Credit Committee headed by the Executive Regional Manager. 2) Controlling and evaluating credit facilities granted periodically to detect problems or any failure to repay outstanding debts. 3) Resolving problem loans and managing the process of assets liquidation.
