* RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the Force Safety Officer in the planning, implementing and evaluation of the Safety Program.
- Conducts sites inspections using the Safety Audits, sites including: Workshops, Stores, Fuel station and Aviation unit.
- Assists in the provision of information, instruction, training and supervision of all staff.
- Assists in the investigation of accidents to identify causes and to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.
- Assists in the coordination for the monthly safety meetings and quarterly safety councils. Keeps record and provides a hard copy of the minutes to the Force Safety Officer for distribution to council members.
- Maintains safety records including lifting equipment, pressure vessels masts and towers, fires and accidents data.
- Manage the Hazardous waste storing facility.
- Provide new-employee health and safety orientations, and develop materials for these presentations.
- Monitor the Force Waste Segregation Program and reporting the figures of waste compacted to the chain of command.
- Translate and maintain relevant safety documents and information from or to Arabic.
