Supervises recruitment team and follow up with process.
Control, maintains and updates manpower plan and prepares related monthly and weekly reports.
Follow up with department heads to make sure they are in-line with manpower plan.
Search for suitable candidates according to relevant job criteria through multiple recruitment channels including social media, employee referrals, job boards and external recruitment agencies.
Conducts pre-screening interviews, to shortlists candidates for further round of interviews.
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers including finalizing the schedule, calling candidates and sending invites to ensure all paperwork is sent prior to interview
Respond to all candidate enquiries and keep candidates updated on the interview and shortlisting status and information.
Follows up with the government relations function and hiring managers to ensure that the candidate hire date is on schedule and all necessary formalities have been completed
Ensures all recruitment documentation, interview feedback forms and candidate documentation is recorded and filed in the database
Assist the selected candidates in all the On-Boarding process.

Reviews & processes annual salary increments, promotional adjustments, transfers and market modifications, in accordance with ADU policies and procedures.
Reviews payment forms received from colleges/departments and prepares adjunct faculty contracts and service agreements in accordance with ADU policies and procedures.
Processes proctoring, overtime and overloads payments for all employees.
Prepares the end of service for employees leaving the university as per the set procedures.
Processes position & acting stipends as directed for various positions in the university.
Processes the business travel, conference, seminars and trainings for all employees.
Reviews the leaves in the system and ensures that all employees are using the system to record their leave.
Evaluates job positions, determines classifications & proposed salary for new hires, promotions etc.
Ensures all positions in the organization has a job description and each position is evaluated.
Provides timely advice and support to faculty and staff with regards to their eligibility for changes in compensation based on their Band, Grade and contract.
Enters compensation information into the system for inclusion in payroll based on eligibility and policy.
Ensures accurate and consistent placement of ADU employees on prevailing salary structure based on job responsibilities and classification.
Assists compensation & benefits manager in designing reward programs and other incentive schemes like merit pay & bonus criteria, etc.
Ensures the university’s pay policies comply with changing laws and regulations
Revise compensation & benefits policies, procedures as required and provide recommendations.
Informs employees on compensation changes through different communication channels such as email, Newsletter, SharePoint, etc.

Planning human resource requirements in consultation with heads of different functional & operational areas and conducting selection interviews
Supervising staffing, recruitment, induction program, contract negotiations, discipline, policy & procedures and retirement program for general & union employees
Evaluating jobs and ensuring consistent placement of employees with an appropriate salary structure level; conducting salary surveys to benchmark with the competitive market, convert data for analysis and proposing changes to the benefits being offered
Defining policies/standards in compliance with university and suggesting changes to the HR director; reviewing organizational structure and suggesting changes to meet new strategic plans
Generating payroll reports and coordinating with Ministry of Finance to enroll the budget plan for next year’s budget
Imparting trainings to the colleagues and providing assistance at times; addressing the queries of the employees related to benefits
Coordinating for the development of Departmental Budgets and ensuring adherence to the same
Spearheading the complete recruitment life-cycle for sourcing the best talent from diverse sources after identification of manpower requirements
Ensuring prompt resolution of employee grievances to maintain cordial management-employee relations and achieve dedication by workers and processing employees’ related benefits, like schools and annual tickets (travel allowance)

Supervise and set up IT lab equipment
Maintain and repair PC’s
Update and trouble shoot software programs
Teach low and high level programming languages
Administrate computer related subjects for all levels
Supervise 12th grade IT projects

Install and commission the LAN for the university IT labs
Repair software and hardware related problems
Create user’s profiles and students’ data bases
Evaluate various IT technologies to be used at the university labs
Arrange technical seminars and presentations for university students
Report to the IT Head Department on a weekly and a monthly basis
Instruct and supervise students with IT graduation projects
