Project Survey and design, preparation of BOQ, TSSR,
Organize Project Kick off meetings with all parties and stake holders.
Supervise project built for Outside Plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) Cabling and ducting construction.
Ensure Splicing and Termination of Fiber optic cables at the Joint and termination boxes
Conduct CTS testing and reporting using specialized reporting software

Supervise fiber optic project feasibility studies, OFC project survey and designing, preparation of BoQs, project implementation and commissioning to ensure compliance; Supervise Survey, design and deployment metro fiber optics network. Supervise monitoring and maintenance of outside plant and premises fiber optic network; Research and recommend fiber network solutions and equipment that will guarantee quality of Service; Training and mentoring of in-take and interns.
install and maintain fiber optic cable plants, monitoring fiber transmission performance using performance test equipment like OTDR, laser source and power meter, Fluke test for copper signals to correct problems; Preparation of Optical Distribution Frame (ODF) and cable for core distribution, splicing and termination; Establishment of wide area network (WAN); carry out periodic and corrective maintenance of OSP infrastructures like manholes Handholds, vaults and damaged or broken cables; Analyze network data to determine network usage, document network support activities, evaluate LAN or WAN performance data to ensure sufficient availability or speed, to identify network problems, and identify the causes of networking problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment.
Desktop maintenance and upgrades; Assess user needs and develop technical solutions on work related issues; Document technical support and business processes; recommend operating systems and corresponding software; Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot end user desktops; Determine and execute system reconfiguration needs; Establish end user service level agreements; Install and manage peripheral support devices like printers; Examine, manage, maintain, upgrade and support network servers’ equipment and maintenance; Order and buy computer systems and work with purchase personnel.
