I oversee Production Department, Material Department, and Warehouse. Production Manager, Material Manager and Warehouse supervisor are reporting directly to me.
I am reporting directly to CEO.

- I am responsible for finalizing special deals and agreements with suppliers.


- I am in charge of Due Diligence process whenever applicable. I handled this task for at least 4 times.

- I am helping our logistics team in selecting forwarders, mode of shipping, clearance …etc.

- I am making the required letters and documents for SASO to exempt some shipments from having IECEE certificates.

- Giving advice to our logistics team on how to handle the shipment clearance case by case based on its contents.

- Approving the PO (s) after reviewing the QTY and the prices. Sometimes, PO (s) are returned back to material manager to ask suppliers for better prices, or if I manage to get special prices for special deals/projects, then also PO need to be revised.

- Giving instructions to Production team on material to be used especially for Non-Std items

- Supervising WH activities, approving Delivery notes, deciding on Transportation Mode, advising WH team the proper way of arranging and allocating the material per customer.

- Representing TOP management in deals, negotiations and business opportunities.

- Managed to Activate IECEE exemption with the coordination between SASO and Customs Authorities. I met Customs Authorities head in Riyadh to have this task done.

- Initiated and leading Cost Reduction Program in the operations Department. This program covers all aspects of operations department

Total Saving of around SR 3.0 Million was achieved in less than 3 years.

I was promoted to be Production Manager. Then in 2007, I was given the responsibility of heading the Quality Control Department in addition to Production Manager Position. Also, I was the Maintenance Department Head. In 2014, I was assigned to be the Warehouse Manager in addition to Production Manager, and QC Manager Positions.

I was responsible for every single activity taking place in the production Line. I used to make a daily schedule for the production sections. Furthermore, I used to report directly to the CEO.

Some Achievements during this period;

- I was in charge for selecting machines, equipment, and vehicles in the co.

- I succeeded in a recruitment assignment overseas in Philippines and some other recruitment assignments.

- I managed to get SASO certificate for all NLC products for its 1st time in Life in 2008.

- I arranged the warehouse on scientific basis. WH capacity increased after this arrangement, since we applied some techniques such as 5s.

- I contributed in reviving non-moving products, by specifying them to our sales team, making summary of these items from time to time, initiating needs for these items by converting them to LED instead of conventional lighting.

- I was responsible for sourcing out some raw material such as steel sheets, and making the proper communications and decisions, although this task was part of material Department scope.

- Initiating and Leading a program called (Process Development) whose objective was to make cost reduction in production and to improve the production process. An average saving of SR 50, 000 annually was achieved through this program.

- I was in charge for All Expansions / New construction jobs in the co. I handled 4 Expansion Phases in Factory 1, including all finishing jobs. Furthermore, I managed to bring to operations NLC new Factory (F 2) from scratch, including all permits required from MODON, Civil Defense ..etc. I was in charge of everything regarding these projects; design stage with consulting offices, construction with coordination with several Contracting co (s) ..etc.

- I used to handle the Distribution Sales Department in National Lighting Co. during the annual vacations of the Distribution Department Sales Manager.

I was responsible for coordinating between the production sections (Assy. line, Fabrication and painting line).
I was reporting to the Production Manager.
I was getting the work order from the production manager, scheduling the jobs and monitoring the progress of these orders with the foremen.
I established Standard time for the company's products, and I was monitoring the efficiency of operators.

Some Achievements during this period;

- I was managing around 85 workers in the production line.

- I developed standard time for National Lighting products.

- I increased the utilization of machines, labor, and material in the production line.

- I improved the cycle time for many models and improved the production process in all production sections.

- I was responsible for hiring production labors.
