I managed a department that I moved from Denmark, rebuilding a 60sm Laboratory. It was an integrated-complex environment of software and hardware. This activity included marketplace analysis to individuate suppliers and carriers. Cost analysis to decide what commodities to transport and what commodities to locally buy. I supervised the installation and configuration of the complete environment designing the best layout of the laboratory.
Reporting directly to Integration Line Manager (a Business Line founded on proposal of mine) I scheduled weekly meetings to analyze activities, costs, plan steps forward, assess risk management to continual improve the environment.
My team consisted of 25 engineers: Italian, Chinese, Danish, Swedish colleagues and Indian consultants (Wipro).
I was Single point of contact, in Italy, for HUB IT Project (to centralize IT common systems in Stockholm optimizing processes and costs). Previously I was Maintenance Program Team Leader of DSLAM’s products dealing with Telecoms Providers (Telecom Italia, BT, Telia Sonera, Deutsche Telecom) the product releases.
