- Responsible to manage all Servers starting from hardware level, OS and applications such as Domain services and Active directory, Messaging systems, Proxy servers, web filtering. Enterprise Backup and disaster recovery, centralized SAN storage, Service desk portal, SharePoint portals and many others&
- Responsible to manage highly experienced system engineers to administrate the above.
- Responsible to design and deploy optimized and cost effective Airline solutions.
- Manage, assign, and check the work of individual teams to ensure that all solutions, tasks and projects are achieved on time and within budget.
- Oversee daily activities of updating, enhancing, follow-ups of projects are done based on customer requirements.
- Interact with management, users and vendors to determine system requirements and solutions.
- Review various reports and provides technical guidance to staff. Establish directives for future systems by evaluating and planning for software or hardware upgrades.
- Manage all IT security compliance related activities.
- Develop and implement any IT policy based on Gulf Air business requirements.
- Create and ensures that all IT policies and procedures exist and maintained.
- Create and manage Gulf Airs Business continuity and disaster recovery planning solution.
- Management of reporting staff performance appraisals, setting clear objectives with defined targets.
- Support, maintenance and monitoring of all Enterprise level Infrastructure.
- Coach and develop the team to ensure delivery of a consistently superior user experience by highly knowledgeable and user-focused agents and to act as the communication conduit between Frontlines and Management.
- Evaluate and recommend IT products to management. Offer solutions and suggestions for process and product improvement to management.
- Develop employees career development plan.
As a Project Manager, I am responsible for the overall ownership of project from inception to completion where it involves the management of scope, quality, time, resources, internal/client, project budget.
Manage the implementation of Infrastructure projects.
Responsible for understanding and assessing the users / customer infrastructure requirements.
Project management coaching and leadership enhancing infrastructure project management skills.
Critical information reporting to infrastructure management.
Consolidating the results and status of projects.
Implements infrastructure strategic direction in liaison with senior management.

Manage Vendors and suppliers
Participate in the Change Control Board and Technical Review Board.
Infrastructure (server side HP UX-RHEL-OEL-AIX)
Monitor, configure, troubleshoot, administrate and audit internally server side with compensates.
Disaster Recovery ( TSM, Ignite, CBMR, TBMR)
Plan and schedules daily, weekly and monthly backup for all Critical systems in Gulfair using TSM and IBM Tape library as well as taking OS backup using CBMR and ignite while taking offsite backup is a major role to restore if Disaster happened, on the other hand, restoration of data and OS when needed using the various tools mention above.
o Work under minimal direction, functions in multiple advanced specialty disciplines such as systems infrastructure, installations/integration, cross-discipline functions, system engineering on multiple operating systems, industry expertise, knowledge engineering or legacy evolution, leads and coordinates the design, development, implementation support and optimization of IT infrastructure systems that enable and support business and/or IT engineering functions.
Review and recommend parameters to applications to establish a correct OS environment configuration for optimal performance of the applications.
Perform implementations of OS patches, upgrades and conversions of OS.
Define project scope, plan deliverables including cost projects and proposed implementation dates.
Conduct researches, analyzes, recommends and implements new technologies, standards, processes, tools and techniques.
Create systems infrastructure portions of information/technology plans based on an understanding of the customers organizational strategic direction, technical context and business needs.
Coach and provide technical leadership to others on infrastructure solutions designs, platform sizing, and the application of new technologies and project management methodologies.
Review other infrastructure system designs to select appropriate technology, ensure efficient use of resources and ensure integration of multiple systems and technologies.
I worked in a team sharing knowledge with other employees, project management and analytical/logical thinking. Which provide me will huge knowledge about troubleshooting the Servers problem due to customer usage. Moreover, meeting customer satisfaction and working under very high Pressure.
Implementing and designing infrastructure for customers such as UGB, Hits Africa, DRM, DIB and Solidarity insurance company.
Provided training to install and configure AD, ISA 2006, SQL, DNS, Exchange 2007 and SCOM 2007.
My main duty was to migrate Lotus notes to Exchange 2007 project.
Trained To monitor and configure AD and Lotus notes on daily basis.
Provided a technical solutions for a small company of 20 users such as installing software and hardware.
Configured mail server to gain the users to be able to send and receive email under the company name.
