1- Study the project documents and define the required scope of work, prepare required preliminary designs and estimate quantities and durations.
2- Plan and review main schedule of activities (level 1) and ensure that every team fully ready and understands the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) activities.
3- Assist in preparing the project management plans and submittals. Study and discuss any client's requests and define the suitable solutions accordingly.
4- Review, suggest modification, and mark-up of designs and technical submittals, and relay any issues to the relevant department. Provide any technical support required.
5- Perform analysis of faults or deficiencies using the suitable agile tools and suggest the corrective and/or preventive maintenance.
6- Prepare equipment specifications and data sheets required for works, and discuss with vendors. Plan and process any anticipated need for supply and liaise with logistics department.
7- Support the required pre-commissioning and commissioning tests to ensure that the system in test was executed according to the requirements, document the results, follow-up the punch list of findings (if any) and report the results to the relevant department.
8- Plan and contribute in performing the technical training and development of the O&M manuals.
9- Contribute into the development of processes and procedures and suggest the required modifications and share with the relevant departments and disciplines.
10- Any other activities required by the management.
1- Review the technical documents (Designs, data sheets, specifications, etc.) to confirm that is according to the client’s requirements and report any discrepancies to the relevant department.
2- Supervise the execution of the works to make sure is executed according to the requirements.
3- Perform the joint walk downs with other departments’ representatives to confirm mechanical completion (cold test) is done accordingly.
4- Prepare the punch lists for the mechanical completions if any issues are noticed and report to the relevant department.
5- Supervise the functional pre-commissioning and commissioning tests to ensure that the system in test was executed according to the requirements, document the results, issue the punch list of findings (if any) and report the results to the relevant department.
6- Ensure the instrumentation and testing equipment are calibrated and maintain their records. Review and approve the permit to works and the required documents (job safety analysis, risk assessments, tool box talks, etc.) to ensure a safe working practice and ensure the required switching and isolation/ de-isolation is done according to the required practice.

1- Lead the projects technical (M, E&I, P) teams throughout the period of planning and performance to meet the expectations of the clients and the company.
2- Study and review of the designs and report discrepancies and clarify any technical issues to the team and suggest required modifications.
3- Lead the revision of the estimated BoQ and make sure it covers all the projectcomponents and maintain the input data required to the materials monitoring system.
4- Study and monitor the projects master plans and adjust the work load and assign the resources to each section and make the necessary tweaks to ensure better performance and produce the targeted quality works.
5- Foresee and attend in advance to any issues that might hinder the work progress.
6- Ensure the best practice to keep a records and logs of the projects daily activities and the implementation of the modern technologies in reporting and communication process.
7- Assess and evaluate the performance of the staff and provide the suitable environment to improve their skills and experience.
8- Monitor the operation of the project units and components to decide the need of preventive or corrective maintenance and plan the need for materials, equipment, and tools.
9- Perform and schedule the calibration of the instruments and the test equipment and maintain the records.
10- Liaise and coordinate with other departments to solve the mutual issues and ensure a smooth progress of works.
11- Attend to any further requests and tasks assigned by the management.

The company was specialized in designing and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems (HVAC, Diesel generating plants, power houses, medium voltage networks and substations, Boiler houses, Lifts, Control systems and telemetry, Cathodic protection systems, Explosion proof equipment and installations, Fire alarm and self-extinguishing systems, Communication systems and internal installations).
My job was leading the teams of designing and maintenance of the company’s projects all over the country, finding technical solutions and suggestions for the technical problems facing the teams and training the staff for running and maintenance of the technical systems in the projects.
Chief supervisor electrical engineer responsible for review of working drawings and plans, leading the working teams, solving any technical problems facing the teams, measuring the quantities of the executed items, inspection of the finished works, quality assurance of the work, planning of the resources, selection of the equipment and materials.
This project was an airport fully equipped with all up-to-date technologies of electrical services, networks, information techniques, communications, SCADA, telemetry and electronic systems.
My rank was 4 in a class of 81 students. The medium of my study was English and all professors were expats from Europe an Asia.
