Coached, lead and successfully developed the multi-functional organization in Lebanon as entity General Manager (50
employees, 5 departments), and built very strong relations with main JTI stakeholders.
Remotely managed the Iraqi market from Lebanon in coordination with the distributor based in UAE & Athens, due to
security restrictions and limitations.
Led the Local Manufacturing project for JTI brands in Lebanon in coordination with HQ Business Development and
Legal departments, Regional Management and Legal, the Local Monopoly and different stakeholders. Production
kicked off on July 2018.

Initiated and liaised with regional management the development of Middle East portfolio & brand plan strategies and
ensured the development of consistent TTL programs across the Middle East as per the Annual & Strategic plans.
Special focus was put on Syria market which required around 40% of my time, concentrating on building relation with
the Monopoly to secure Credit Letters for cigarettes shipments in a quota market and developing a structured field
force covering main cities in Syria.
Worked closely with advertising agencies and coordinated with distributors to ensure alignment and appropriate
implementation of new launches / activation strategies / brand plans to maximize efficiency and impact.
Developed & recommended optimal channel & merchandising / planning strategy to improve distribution gaps,
awareness, image, and visibility.
Ensured proper and timely reporting to sub-region (AAs, BAPs, PAS, MEMO, marketing & market reports).
Oversaw the translation of portfolio, brand and trade strategies into detailed marketing plans in line with business
objectives and KPI’s.
Managed the development and planning of TTL communication platforms and ensured creative media buy and
developed winning propositions.
Developed JTI business with all trade channels based on their priorities. Developed optimal channel strategy for an
improved brand distribution, visibility, awareness, image and equity.
Worked closely with the Operations Manager and Distributors for a better coordination of the market activities and
trade dynamics through preparing and reviewing regular reports, evaluating results and preparing operating plans.
Coached and trained the team members in related markets in order to achieve operational KPI targets, through ensuring annual training and development plans, in addition to regular performance assessment. Ensured compliance with local legislation and with JTI's operations/marketing standards.
Prepared the Annual Strategic and Operating plans in coordination with the Marketing Director ME.
Developed brand launch programs and brand cycles with primarily focus on Winston.
Management and Optimization of all promotion, space rental & merchandising material as per the approved plan.
Developed special events and activation programs under Winston Fun World platform and did the necessary to adapt
this platform in the Jordan market.
Managed, trained and developed the marketing team in Lebanon and Jordan.
Managed the marketing budget and provide monthly update.
Handled Business & relation with the Monopoly & various distributors.
Managed the relation between the Marketing department and the creative agency.
Developed the operation plans and supervise its implementation by the field force.
Managed the yearly budget, relation with suppliers and coordination with management and HQ.
