- Assure the Plant Management during Technical Director’s absence (holidays or missions)+18% of time
- Participate in Annual Budget Setting of the plant
- Participate in establishing of the Business Plan
- Participate in the Plant Master Plan PMP elaboration
- Managing 19 Peoples (2 Engineers, 3 Supervisors, 4 Kiln& mills Operators, 10 employees)
- Follow up of daily process production performance
- Manage the plant optimization in order to reduce the total production cost
- Implementation of operation procedures for vertical mills, kiln and ball mills
- Process performance assessment : Heat Balance, burner check, material balance
- Process technical analysis during upset conditions
- Coordination with Maintenance and Production teams
- Development of young managers skills
- Manage laboratory staff of 11 peoples
- Manage the product quality at all production steps : raw materials, raw mix, raw meal, clinker & cement
- Implementation of AFR Alternative fuels and raw materials activity at Holcim
- Secure the application of quality management system ISO by respecting the quality manual and procedures
- Optimize product performance according to market needs
- Perform Laboratory equipment for reliable chemical analysis
- Secure equipment conformity according to International Standards
- Develop Laboratory Trials and apply on industrial level in order to perform product quality
- Integrate new technologies for process and product quality control
- Responsible of production data report
- Key User of PP module in SAP (Plant production module)
- Develop project for Production data and quality data management
- Follow university undergraduate internships
Production :
- Optimization of the process performance to assure a high production output and cost reduction
- Analyze the process and quality data to perform production tools
- Optimize the production stoppage for corrective or preventive maintenance
- Make an annual audit for the production process (Kiln heat balance, burner check etc.)
Maintenance :
- Assure the best availability of the Production Unit by application of the preventive maintenance planning and implementation recently of predictive maintenance policy
- Planning and preparation of the annual maintenance plant shutdown (shutdown schedule, spare parts availability, resources availability and qualification…)
Management :
- Coordination of the annual production planning in the industrial unit with sales department
- Coordination of the plant strategy and budget
- Developing strategy to achieve the best KPIs of the plant (Key Performance Indicators)
- Participate actively in implementation of Quality Management System ISO 9001-2001 (Internal Auditor)
- Participate in implementation of Environment Management System ISO 14001.
- Participation in implementation of OH&S Pyramid (Occupational Health and Safety)
- Control quality and uniformity of the product
- Analyze all production process to attend the Cost Target
- Manage inventories for raw materials and critical spare parts
- Coach supervisors and organize the team tasks
- Follow and perform KPIs key performance indicator
- Participate actively in annual production planning and budget
Release feasibility studies for new projects implementation : Cap-ex estimation, profitability, risks assessment
Follow the process performance and tools availability
Organize and supervise industrial trials technically (process and operation)
