Working as a oracle support team leader in optimiza group, main responsibility is to provide support to customer for different oracle products (Oracle Application R12, Database different versions, Oracle Application Server different Versions) .
Installation of Oracle Application 12.1 on differenent platforms and perform different maintaince tasks on APPS (Cloning, patching).
Implement oracle advanced solutions such as oracle RAC, DataGuard, Oracle Failsafe .
Put plans for database and application migrations.
Plans for backup policy .
Plans for DR sites (SAN to SAN replication) (DataGuard)
Work as a oracle DBA on SADAD Payment System
Provide support for SADAD database 24 /7, installing patches and tuning of oracle 9i RAC .
Custom scripts to take backup (Incremental RMAN BACKUP), custom script to split range partition table automatically .
Analyze STATPACK reports generated from all nodes and give recommendation .
Configure standby database, check archive gaps.
Provide support for the development team .
Installation and administration of oracle clusterware (CRS) on AIX machines .
Upgrade database from 9i to 10g .
Installation of Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid (OEM Grid)
In Future responsible about data warehouse for SADAD project .
Acting as an ORACLE DBA I am responsible for:
Providing support for the new systems(Acceptance and Live environments).
Installing, troubleshooting, deploying and administrating ORACLE Internet Application server 10g.
Installing, troubleshooting and administrating ORACLE databases and tools LIKE ORACLE
Developer suite10g.
Upgrade Databases as needed by customer .
Supplying developers team with all customization features they need for the new systems.
Perform ongoing tuning of the database instances .
Plan and implements backup and recovery of the oracle Database .
Troubleshoots with problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools
I was involved in the following projects :-
-Installation of Real Application Cluster on Amman Stock Exchange
Environment Description:-
Oracle : Oracle 9i release 2 with patch 8 installed
Operating System :AIX 5.2 46 bit kernal
Clusterware :Veritas SFRAC
Shared Storage : ESS 800 Storage Area Network (SAN)
Nodes : Two Nodes in the site
- Installation of Real Application Cluster on the Jordan
Acting as an ORACLE DEVELOPER I am responsible for :
Provide support for oracle programs, including fix bugs, create add new REPORTS or FORMS as system require, installation of oracle database and developer 6i suite on client machine .
I was involved in the following projects :-
- Registration system , library system, Clinic system
- Involved in migration some applications from Developer 6i to 10g deployed on Application Server.
- Installation and administration of Oracle Application Server 10g .
- Deploy of webutil and Icons on Application Server and developer,
and deploy of Arabic fonts on unix
As an Oracle Instructor my responsibilities included:
