The USAID provides financial support to Jordanian companies after studying the historical financial position and provides financial consulting to manage the future working capital to prove the future success of these companies to deserve this financial support. The USAID appointed a financial advisor to carry out these historical and future studies, as the advisor performs the following tasks:

1.Gap Assessment report:
 The report should be based on:
 Reviewing historical financial recordkeeping and operational performance, recommending changes to cost accounting methods.
 Refining revenue and expense data capture to include details relevant to advanced budgeting and/or customer and vendor/supplier management.
 Reviewing existing capital structure and recommend changes.
 Conducting operational efficiency analysis and assessments and provide recommendations of refined workflow measures to be adopted and deployed that would result in cost savings, optimized resource allocation, and/or enhancements to revenue streams.
 Assess current state of, and provide recommendations for improvements in, financial management - more specifically, managerial accounting, working capital management, and cash flow optimization
 Make recommendations and/or facilitate implementation of financial management software solutions if needed
 Analysis of historical financial statements including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow.

 Building the financial model for the 3-year projections of the financial statements
The data collected should be analyzed and tabulated in excel format.
2.Preparation of a Financial Model:
Analysis of historical financial statements including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow. Gathering of assumptions and forecasts. This will be done based on the trend analysis from the historical financials, market analysis and guidance from the company.
Building the financial model for the 3-year projections of the financial statements
The data collected should be analyzed and tabulated in excel format.

3.Submission of Checklist:
The checklist should include operational efficiency exercise comprised in a set of questions targeting sales, operations, production, storage, pricing, purchases, etc. as applicable to the specific industry.
4. Submission of Inception report, Analysis report, financial statements, and Projections for SMEs and Startups eligible for USAID BGA assistance
