Events Audio Visual Supervisor
King’s academy is an independent, coeducational boarding and day school providing outstanding
young men and women from Jordan, the Middle East and beyond an educational experience
unlike any available in the region and providing a comprehensive college - preparatory
education using the most and latest technological resources to help student flourish intellectually
and personally.
Responsibilities:
Handle any and all audio / visual, lighting, and presentation equipment needs within the
school for various events of King’s Academy.
Installing and maintaining the CCTV system at King’s Academy.
Inspect, cleans, and preforms minor maintenance on A/ V equipment and materials to
ensure equipment or materials are operating properly and notifies appropriate personnel if
equipment requires major repair.
Provide technical assistance to media and event sponsor from outside
Setup and support A/V equipment computer based media, small projectors and audio
reinforcement equipment used for production presentations, screenings, reviews,
presentations, and events throughout the several indoor and outdoor school venues. This
includes deployment and test of equipment prior to event followed by teardown and
return of portable setups.
Work with other staff and faculty member to design and integrate video, audio, videoteleconference,
control and projection systems in new or existing meeting and conference
rooms.
Recommend, design, and implement upgrades to existing A/V installation whenever any
new requirements arise.
Have the ability to work with non-technical users and provide technical support for all
levels of problems associated with A/V installation.
Preventive maintenance of electronic systems (SMATV, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Clock
systems, Telephone Systems).
Preventive maintenance of electrical panels, (lighting, and sockets).
Preventive maintenance of generators and UPS systems.
Preventive maintenance of solar panel systems.
Maintenance of low current system
Installation and commissioning of AV system in Royal Palace
Installing and Operating Audio/ Video system, Public Address system, SMATV system
and class room projection in King’s Academy
Fire alarm, nurse call, public address, clock system, CCTV, Audio /Video, Cordless
Duct Phones.
Installing, operating and maintain (alarm & security, Audio conferencing system, public
address system, SMATV, controlling automatic doors, Audio / Video systems and
CCTV, fire Alarm)
