- Provide back-up for the production supervisor.
- Responsible for the overall operational activities in the plant on a daily shift basis to ensure the smooth running of the plant in terms of production, maintenance, process breakdown, safety, food safety, product quality, maintenance jobs and environment.
- Leading a team consist of engineers, operators, maintenance technicians and contractors.
- Take part in solving any operational, technical, or logistical problems that may arise during the work period of the shift.
- Provide hand-on experience in Extraction solvent and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Responsible for receiving area activities including storage silos, bunkers and bagging stations.
- Following-up with the maintenance team for corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
- Responsible for achieving productivity, efficiency, quality and safety objective through both individual and team contribution.
- Coordinates production start-up and shut-down for the plant.
- Responsible for plant yield improvement (Lean manufacturing), cost reduction and Downtime optimization.
- Driving and implementing continuous process improvement plan within my team using the KRAs process and set SMART goals.
- Responsible for the team engagement and development for direct reports, and work closely to guide employees to achieve company goals through the performance management process (PMP).
- Plan, work and following OPEX and CAPEX projects provide technical support, drawings and Management of change documents (MOC).
- Provide leadership to work team to enable decision making, problem solving and conflict resolution resulting in team ownership.
- Leading and participating in root cause analysis for effective resolution of operational and safety incidents and near misses.
- Using lab analysis to analyze production results and investigate if product quality deteriorated.
- Work closely and Accountable for seeing that FSQR and HACCP requirements are being met and that finished product quality meets the customer needs.

As a process engineer to follow up and assure safe & smooth operation & to innovate solutions to improve production and reduces costs of maintenance and downtimes in the following areas:

- The beans receiving area which consists of Grain silos, bunkers, oil and meal stations
- The beans preparation area which consist of bucket elevators, drag conveyors and aspiration systems.
- Excellent knowledge of the oil extraction processes and troubleshooting include: vacuum distillation system, desolventizing process, solvent recovery process, oil degumming process, heat exchangers, condensers, cooling tower, pumps and motors.
- Excellent knowledge of all purging processes prior to maintenance shutdowns and welding shutdowns, and pressure test prior to start-up.
- Take a part in planning of scheduled maintenance work in accordance with the production need and continuously provide them with work orders and Use maintenance reliability tools to detect any abnormal condition for equipment.
- The utility area which consists of water treatment plant, steam boiler, rotary screw compressors.
