Interpret day-to-day business objectives and preparation/execution of operational practices/work programs.
Supervise Payroll staff and fill in for the manager as needed and prepare work schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
Facilitate weekly (as required) team calls/meetings.
Assist in monitoring workload and evaluate direct reports and may review the evaluations/development plans of others.
Ensure team members acquire necessary skills and performance attributes, in line with business and personal development needs.
Provide guidance to and shares knowledge with colleagues/team members relating to own specialization.
Assist Payroll manager to create annual team objectives.
Escalate potential service issues to Payroll manager.
Directs work within clear budgetary guidelines.
Participates in interview process for new hires into Payroll roles.
Defines standards and reusable approaches within the Payroll operational framework.
Train team members on new or enhanced operation procedures and policies.
Identify process improvement initiatives and define standards for new processes.
Cover for team members in back-up role for vacation and/or high-volume work efforts.
Process Monthly payroll and maintain payroll control records for more than 1000 employee . Directs computation of pay according to company policy.
Assist in a variety of accounting activities such as data entry, processing weekly disbursements for review, etc.
Perform internal reporting and analysis on a regular basis.
Direct all phases of recruitment including candidate sourcing, advertising, interviewing, background checking, pre-employment exam, and on boarding process.
Administer all employee benefits including insurance and annual open enrollment process an end of service benefits.
Serve as primary source of contact to managers and employees on accounting, payroll, and human resources related inquiries.
Responsible for employee record keeping including personnel files, HRIS data and transactions, and employee statistics for internal and external reporting requirements.
Manage employee leaves of absence and absenteeism which includes eligibility determination, proper documentation, computation, and reporting.
Process personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations.
Administer performance and salary review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.
Identify legal requirements and ensure company policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
Develop, implement, interpret, and update company policies.
Work with Safety Director on work-related incidents/injuries and workers compensation.
Update accounting, payroll, and hr related forms and documentation on SharePoint.
Additional duties as assigned by management.

monitor and resolve taxation issues, develop and maintain financial data bases.
financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process and ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
