In addition to my regular duties, I act the position of EHQS Operation Manager in his absence or during his annual leave. • Working within corporate strategies and policy frameworks, designs, proposes and implements health, safety and environmental strategies, guidelines and procedures within broad principles and policies set by the organization to meet EHSQ requirements supporting short and long-term business needs. • Advises management on government regulations relating to environment, health and safety, and recommends necessary action to attain compliance. • Oversees programs for existing and potential environmental, health and safety concerns and recommends resolution. • Develops programs for environmental remedial action and leads teams for critical incidents. • Maintains relationships with regulatory and government agency personnel.

• Manages and motivates subordinate staff; reviews and assesses performance, builds employee capacity, supports their professional development and enables employees to optimize their contribution to the department. • Formulate EHSQ policies& regulations to achieve the company’s goals and meet regional and government EHSQ workplace requirements. • Identify the overall education and training needs on EHSQ programs of the company and propose to management the implementation of such programs to ensure that the employees understand, accept and support the relevant requirements. • Develop training programs to enhance and improve the safety culture and awareness across the organization. • Investigate and report to the management incidents and accidents occurring on site and identify the root cause of the problems and recommend remedial and preventive measures including the necessary actions to prevent recurrence of such incidents. • Establish and maintain EHSQ documentation and keep updated files of mandatory safety rules and regulations, training, inspection and audit records to ensure EHSQ activities are properly documented and filed according to needs. • Coordinate with Logistics on TDS issues and act as the Safety Adviser in case there is no TDS Adviser on site. Attend TDS related trainings. • Prepare safety review documents of planned new site facilities and participate in the deliberation of such reviews. • Implement programs for existing operations and future business activities including audit, ISO 9001 and 14001 certification application/confirmation, etc. in order to secure the compliance with mandatory regional standards and adequacy relative to company conditions. • Conduct and sustain EHSQ audits, training programs, actual drills with Saudi BASF employees and its facilities to ensure compliance to EHSQ Management Systems. • Formulate Emergency Response Program in coordination with top management.
Ensure proper implementation of Planned Maintenance System (PMS) throughout the fleet in Indonesia and monitor all managed vessel’s operation activities.
• Ensure adequate resources are available to implement and execute Safety and Quality Management System • Develop manuals onboard relating to the vessel’s operation.
• Ensure that all vessels comply with statutory and classification society requirements including the client/charterer requirement.
• Ensure that all vessels have complete and valid certification / documents and they are available at all relevant locations • Responsible to identify applicable guidelines, codes, regulations and standards required. Ensure that all procedures and tasks carried out have complied with all relevant regulations.
• Coordinate all actions to be taken in an emergency situation onboard the vessel. • Handling heavy machinery such as cranes with SWL of 30 tons, derricks, davits and winches EHSQ. In addition, operating COW(crude oil washing) machines & manually operating Cargo pumps (centrifugal & Framo), Safe lifting practices. • Maintaining, donning and operating various lifesaving and firefighting apparatus such as lifeboats, rescue boats, all types of fire extinguishers, SCBA Sets (self-contained breathing apparatus) and fireman outfit. • Navigation Bridge Lookout. • Dry Dock Operations • Operating and maintaining heavy operations such as STS (ship to ship mooring), SPM operations (single point mooring), regular alongside mooring in ports.

• Capable in handling various workshop tools and cargo handling instruments such as MMC (marine moisture control) or UTI (ullage temperature indicator), Gas meter, explosimeter, drager tubes, sounding rods, • Establishing and maintaining safe working conditions such as securing personal safety of the ship's personnel. • Verifying atmosphere of all tanks, pump-rooms, machinery and ship gas status and validity of gas free. • Dealing with various Petroleum products such as different grades of Crude oil, Petroleum Gas 91 & 95, Diesel Oil, Naphtha, Jet fuel etc. and attended cargo operations (Loading & discharging).
