Responsible for the following aspect: sourcing, purchasing, transport,
warehousing and distribution.
Duties:
1. Stock taking after every six month
2. Tendering Process start from advertising tender up to the
selection of the successful bidder (full tendering process
undertaken)
3. Find the right supplier for the consumable items at the office
4. Find the right supplier of office stationary
5. Purchases of other items for the office use if necessary
6. Preparation of Store/warehouse/ go-down quarterly report using
(Store Control Accounts).
7. Preparation of Purchasing Order
8 . Monitor contractor performance, recommending contract
modifications when necessary
9. Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs,
ordering more materials when necessary.
10. Contact suppliers in order to schedule deliveries and to resolve
shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
11.Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and
price lists.
12. Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the
internet, and interview them to gather information about products
to be ordered.Monitoring data management to keep accurate
product, contract, pricing and invoicing information.
13. Working closely with suppliers and customers to improve
operations and reduce cost.
14. Ensuring the personal safety and safe working environment of
staff.
15. Communicating needs & objectives to managers & key
personnel in procurement, logistics & distribution.
16. Negotiating contracts to reduce costs and achieve maximum

17. Providing accurate routing information to ensure that delivery
times and locations are coordinated
