CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure productivity targets are met and maintain computerized administration and automated storage and retrieval systems.
Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
Plan the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organize special requirements for certain stock.
Manage teams of workers and deal with personnel issues such as the training and discipline of staff.
Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods
Oversee picking, packing and distribution activity.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
• Training staff and monitoring their performance and progress.
• Communicating with other departments, staff groups and customers.
• Overseeing stock control and processing orders;
• Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met.
• Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation's headquarters.
• Carrying out responsibilities for the use of automated and computerized systems.
• Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email, fax and telephone.
• Keeping stock control systems up to date and planning future capacity requirements.
• Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Briefing team leaders on the issues for that particular day.
• Visiting customers to monitor the quality of service they are receiving.
• Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment.
• Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
Operations shop floor control and efficiency of operational activities to ensure timely service
* Quality Assurance - stock rotation, food safety and security and Cold Chain Management
* Data Integrity, Inventory Accuracy and Tasks Accuracy through daily tasks checks and periodical inventory count
* Ensure that space, equipment and resources are optimized to enable reduced lead times
* Ensures operations are conducted as per the SOP’s
* Guides and motivates the personnel under his control for performance enhancement.
* Ensure current and accurate inventory control
* Maintaining proper documentation for the transactions and ensure data integrity
* Analyzing reports and checking as per actual like Warehouse Utilization/weekly warehouse report and empty locations
* Checking Put away Audit reports
* Verifying Daily Inspection Checklists
* Scrutinizing the Non-Conformance reports raise from Warehouse
* Institute immediate corrective action in the event of any inventory discrepancy
* Ensure the safety of materials stored in the warehouse
* Comply with HSE requirements on warehouse activities
* Plan Storage Optimization for effective Inventory turnover.
* Ensure timely execution of daily production Plan
* Monitor minimum Stock level for the packaging material meets all the time.
* Analysis the Line efficiency on the daily production in respective of throughput & cost effectiveness
* Monitor Receipt/Inbound/GR from production & Putaway accuracy.
* Analysis Stock on network warehouses & prepares the deployment.
* Plan resources for daily dispatch for Primary & Secondary distribution.
* Conduct Tool Box Meeting & Safety Briefing.
* Reconciles systems, report variance & ensure resolution as per agreed SLA with Client.
* Update Daily Operational activity reports for all respective location.
* Weekly Conduct Safety Walks, Monitors PI/NM on the SITE & Closures
* Carry Vendor Management for aligning daily operational requirements
* Update Daily Operational activity reports for all respective location.
* Submission of Monthly Billing Data of project for Invoicing.
* Reconciling Data with Client for timely Processing ob monthly invoice & Follow up for the recoveries (if required)
* Conducting Team building Session& Awareness event for betterment of Employee.
Analysis the daily requirement for operation & deploy resources for maximum utilization on given day.
* Conduct Team Meeting, brief & delegate tasks.
* Monitor Operational KPI & ensure all agreed SLA fulfilled during operations.
* Enforces implementation of IMS guidelines & Safe Operations Practices in work environment.
* Plan & monitor implantation for Optimization of Storage.
* Preparing reports for Operation effective & Management Reviews.
* Participate in IRA Ensure Inventory Accuracy maintain throughout.
* Review Year end Performance of reporting Staff.
* Review Statistical analysis of Volumes, Utilization & Stock accuracy.
* Plan measures to enhance the Performance level of facilities.
* Monitor Customer Complaints & measure to take for eliminations.
* Coach & mentor all functional Team as & when required.
* Ensure HSSE & QA SPO’s Implementation.
* Arranging & scheduling the resources for the Stock count.
* Prepare Work Place for the stock count, Mapping floor for complete coverage.
* Briefing TSTI (Total Safety Task Instructions).
* Assist manager to meets the targets with increase collective throughput of the team.
* Resources deployment with best fit & meet time constrains.
* Conduct training for the new colleagues to increase familiarity with equipment i.e. Micro Controllers & Scanners
