As a warehouse supervisor, my main responsibilities include:
• Receiving, inspecting, and issuing materials to the appropriate teams or departments
• Ensuring our records are up-to-date, including all inward materials and any missing certificates or documentation
• Implementing a 1-day strategy with the team, aimed at completing the receiving, inspection, storing, and GRN process all in the same day as the materials are received
• Planning with production to ensure all necessary materials are available and delivered in a timely manner, with no delays
• Collaborating with logistics and services teams to schedule and coordinate deliveries
• Conducting daily cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels
• Maintaining all certificates and documents in a secure location and ensuring they are available when needed
• Organizing and expanding the warehouse as needed to accommodate upcoming materials
• Communicating regularly with procurement, production, and quality teams to address any issues or concerns that may arise
• Conducting daily toolbox talks with the team to emphasize safety issues and best practices
• Preparing and presenting weekly reports to management, highlighting achievements, total items, and any issues that may require attention.

In my role within the transportation department, I have had the opportunity to manage a project worth over $2 million and oversee a dedicated fleet of 50 trucks. My daily tasks have included:
• Receiving and processing daily orders from clients
• Loading and shipping (dispatching) client goods, both locally and overseas, with over 200 orders per month to destinations such as Dubai, Jordan, Iraq, and Kuwait
• Scheduling trips and coordinating with drivers to ensure timely delivery
• Managing and monitoring our team of dedicated drivers, ensuring they are aware of their general status and estimated time of arrival
• Ensuring equal opportunities for all team members and promoting a collaborative team environment
• Coordinating with 3rd party transportation companies when necessary to handle overload situations
• Generating KPI reports, including revenue, expenses, and profit metrics

- Receiving materials from local and overseas vendors
- Issuing inspection forms and completing goods receiving notes (GRNs)
- Labeling materials and issuing them to end-users
- Conducting daily cycle counts and tracking variances, as well as resolving any discrepancies
- Performing yearly inventory audits
- Creating approximately 300 material codes per month
- Managing and tracking rejected items through the OSDR process
- Executing buffer stock tasks, such as determining reorder points, maximum points, and safety stock levels
- Being available for on-call tasks as needed
- Providing weekly reports to management
- Managing time-sheets for both direct and contract employees within the warehouse.
My experience in this field has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of warehouse and material management, including inventory control, quality assurance, and operations management.
