Place emergency orders and assures prompt and timely delivery of these items • Manage all key aspects of procurement of collateral items from external vendors following established Benefit Operations and supply chain objectives (logistic, inventory…) • Manage the product development phase from the creative part internally to the development with the vendors to deliver on time • Responsible for the transfer prices in respect of the target of the company • Identify and analyze opportunities to competitively bid to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership • Achieve target: yearly savings, cost avoidance, inventory, transportation cost. • Tracking of the key department metrics, including sourcing, value analysis, tooling cost, savings, inventory, transportation cost. • Establish metrics to measure and improve department performance, include supplier performance, shortages, price changes, supplier quality, etc • Manages planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending and savings forecasts. Ensures buyers minimize risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and in accordance with Company guidelines • Assign tasks, review work, and provide direction to staff while ensuring purchasing processes are met within established timelines • Establishes policies and procedures related to the purchasing function, provides training to purchasing personnel and monitors performance to ensure compliance.
