During the construction phase of the 49.5MW Abour Wind Farm, acting as the Owner’s Engineer on-site representative on behalf of the Client (Abour Energy Company) and conduct a design review of relevant engineering documentation, monitor plant and key equipment manufacturing (performed by quality audits and inspections at the places of manufacture) and monitor and inspect the construction, commissioning and testing of the contracted works of the EPC Contractor in providing, installing and setting to work the wind turbines and the Balance of Plant. act at all times on behalf of the Owner and perform any of the functions of the Owner / the Client which may properly be delegated to the Owner’s Engineer. .
- Responsible for coordination with the wider team (electrical, mechanical, turbine engineers).
- Review and provide concise summary of Project programmes (weekly and monthly);
- Conduct Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) audits.
- Undertake design reviews and provide technical comments when required.
- Review Extension of Time requests and Variation Orders / Change Orders from the EPC Contractor and agree way forward with the Project Manager.
- Witness all key activities relating to testing and commissioning of the plant.
- Maintain progress trackers on site and update the office accordingly.
- Monitor performance of the EPC Contractor and the subcontractors.
- Check that the works are being completed according to the project design requirements, specification and plans / other documentation, including the Employer’s Requirements and EPC Contract;
- Review and comment on (validate) programme and delivery to the Project schedule;
- Monitor equipment deliveries and long lead item procurement (concrete, transformers, wind turbine components among others);
- Check that the Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP), the Construction Environmental Management Plan
(CEMP) and the Quality Management Plans are being implemented in full by the EPC Contractor.

- Manage the H.V. power cable Services (Pfisterer made) and M.V. cables services
(Raychem, Elastimold).
- Electrical Substations Installation plan & execution supervision, follow Vendors,
Designer, site team, and Testing & commissioning work.
- Develop the best practices to manage and organize the Division work.
- Hiring sub-contractor to complete the rush project on time & budget.
- Team building (consist of 60 persons) & Technical Training for Pfisterer and ongoing
work to extend for Suedkabel and Brugg cables.
- Reporting of budget, progress, plans, and other Division works to the Executive
Manager.
- In-charge for the sites work of installation, and power cables Joints and Terminations.

Petro-Rabigh Substation, Tawdihiyah Substation Extension…
