Project Management and implementation of OSP, WLAN, LAN and TDS packages port wide.

Identify and report delay, dependencies and variation and lead in the drafting of recovery plan as deemed necessary.
Manage and coordinate with site implementation engineers to ensure as built drawing submittal.
Ensure QA/QC/HSE is followed by implementation team on overall project.

During my 5 years at ORYX GTL as IT Project Manager following was the project which was delivered successfully and within the planned time frame.
ICS Plant Security Control Project.
• Review and conclude main contractors (Schneider Electrics) Project Plan with stakeholders.
• Finalize and issue Stakeholders list
• FAT activity coordination with stakeholders.
• Deployment of hardware as per approved design.
• Manage and Coordinate with different department mainly operations and finalize downtime with minimum commercial /operation impact.
• Chair the weekly meeting with contractor to make sure project is on the track as per project plan.
• Manage and coordinate with other department for dependencies, variations and other project related concerns.
• To make sure plant safety process is followed strictly by contractor.
ORYX GTL New Office Building. (Old office from Dolphin tower to WOQOD HQ building - West-bay)
• Work with construction team, Network design team and Telecom and AV team to finalize design for Data center, Telecom rooms, horizontal and vertical structured cabling, Board room and Meeting rooms AV requirement.
• Finalize Data/AV/Signage IMO points as per final furniture layouts.
• Finalize stakeholders list with RACI matrix.
• Finalize project plan with contractor (GBM, Salam Technology and Salam International) and stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage project implementation phase as per project deadline.
• Attend progress meeting to raise and close dependencies, concerns and variation.
• Coordinate with service provider OOREDOO for connectivity requirement.
Board Room and Meeting Rooms AV Project
• Was part of management discussion for Board room and meeting rooms AV requirement.
• Prepare scope of work document.
• Evaluate and finalizing AV solution contractor.
• Finalize stakeholders list with RACI matrix.
• Finalize project plan with contractor and stakeholders.
• Focal point of contact from start to end of deployment.
• Manage integration and implementation phase with other departments.
ITT Infrastructure Refresh and Upgrade Project
• Was part of Engineering team to put together scope of work (SOW).
• Initiate site survey with contractor (Qatar Site and Power and Stakeholders) to discuss existing and new requirement.
• Coordination Kick off meetings with concern department and contractor.
• Finalize project plan with contractor and stake holders.
• Manage project implementation phase as per project plan and deadline.
• Coordination with application and systems team for minimum downtime during implementation phase.
