Coal Quality anlysis:
Perform complete analysis of coal such as Total Moisture, Internal Moisture, Ash, Volatile Matter, Fix Corbon, sulfur, Partical size distribution, Crushing, Grinding. Bulk Density, Hardness,
Water Treatment :
Perform complete Analysis of Boiler water, Feed water, condensate water, saturated water, super saturated, reheated water, Generator water, closed cooling water, Deman, Cooling water, Brine water, industrial water, and wastewater.
Ability to read and follow chemical laboratory methods and procedures.
Adhere to lab safety procedures and hazardous spill containment and control.
Maintain chemical and water treatment lab cleanliness, organization, documentation, order and care of equipment.
Wash, rinse, and dry glassware and apparatus.
prepare solutions according to instructions and formulas.
Perform analyses per analytical SOPs
Recognize and communicate inconsistent and nonconforming results.
Basic knowledge of chemical handling and storage required.
Operate Spectrophotometers, Gas cromotogramph, Analytical balances volumetric pipets, micropipettors, graduated cylinders, titrators and volumetric flasks.
Participate in and adhere to laboratory and Quality Control programs.
Maintain inventories/chemical list on chemistry materials and request supplies for weekly purchasing.
Follow standard operating procedures and chemical hygiene plan.
Comfortable working in a chemical development environment.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Good verbal and written business
communication skills.
Prepared all types of Standard solutions such as Normal, Molar and percent solutions.
Organized and update Safety Data Sheets of all chemicals and reagents in lab.
Record, prepare and submit written documentation of laboratory test results.
Participated in weekly safety meetings and conducting safety observations in analytical lab.
Operate and performed calibrations on a variety of laboratory instruments, such as pH meters, conductivity meters, turbidity meters, viscosity meters, hydro meters, Analytical balances, oven, furnace, spectrophotometers HACH and UV/VIS, flam Photometers, Sieve shaker, Karl fisher, COD and BOD Apparatus, Gas chromatograph Agelent A-7890 etc.
Enter data and create reports in the laboratory information management system (LIMS).
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to particulate ideas and communicate needs in a concise manner.
knowledge of PPE'S and Complete firefighting training in PFL Multan, usage of different fire extinguishers to extinguish relevant types of fire and basic techniques to extinguish the fire.
Good knowledge about permits and authorized to receive permit.
ERT Member of Safety Department.
Water Treatment Analysis:
Analysis of samples for continuous operation and performance monitoring of pretreatment & Demineralization plants, cooling towers, Boiler water treatment, Boiler feed water, Boiler blow down, Raw water. such as pH, Conductivity, Total Hardness, Calcium hardness, Magnesium Hardness, SO4, NH3, NO2, NO3, TSS, SiO2 (L.R, H.R), PO4, Fe3, Fe2, Alkalinity, Free available chlorine, Total Chlorine, chlorides etc.
Waste Water Treatment:
Test effluent sample to determine. Ammonia, phosphorous, pH, conductivity, BOD, COD, chlorine, solid content and hardness analysis. Conduct both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Drinking Water Analysis:
Analysis of physical tasting, chemical testing and bectrological tasting of drinking water at plant and township. such as Arsenic, Total Bectria, Ecoli, Fecal coliform, Total Hardness, Calcium, Magnesium, Total iron, Zinc, Cloride, Nitrate, Colour, turbidity, total solids, dissolved solids, suspended solids, odour and taste.
Lube Oil Analysis:
Analysis of Lube oil, Engine oil, Gear Box oil, Transformer oil, Diesel and kerosene oil.
Analysis involving, viscosity, flash point, pour point, neutralization number, moisture, Suspended solids, and specific gravity etc.
Fertilizer Product Analysis:
Perform complete analysis of Urea, DAP, NP, CAN, SSP and TSP fertilizer product samples.
Raw Material Analysis:
Lime stone analysis, SOP analysis, Rock Phosphate analysis, scale sample analysis, K2CO3 Analysis, Nalco chemical Analysis and Catacarb, analysis.
Gas Analysis:
Natural Gas analysis, Ammonia Gas Stream analysis and L.CO2 analysis.
Environmental Analysis:
Air monitoring (NOx, SOx, CO, CO2, H2S, NH3 & Dust, ) and waste water analysis.
CO2 Removal:
Analysis of Benfield and DEA based solutions for Concentration wt. %, Vanadium, DEA wt. %, Iron, Carbonates, Bicarbonates & Equivalent Carbonates, Colour Index. Foaming Tendency of Liquids, etc.
Monitor the quality of Poly Vinyl Chloride Resin & intermediate product specs.
Maintaining record in Laboratory Information Management System.
Maintain quality management system & environment management system (ISO-9001&14000)
Analysis of cooling water system, boilers & blow down and different sample from utility section.
Analysis of waste water treatment samples, effluent and sludge.
Analysis of Caustic soda, Hypo, Hydrochloric Acid & Sulphuric Acid.
Analysis of Brine Solution & Electrolyzer Samples
Analysis of Raw Materials & Intermediate Plant Products
Analysis Online Plants Samples.
Analyzed of the qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis of raw material, finished product, and waste water.
