Identify business opportunities and secure investments that promote the financial interests of an organization, performing thorough due diligence on each. Monitor and set access control for systems within the bank, ensuring that employees can access only the transactions, screens, and functions relevant to their job responsibilities. Identify instances of inappropriate access, automate user provisioning, and help develop the access control policy while overseeing administrator tasks and assigning permissions. Conduct annual and quarterly system audits to ensure all components, including software and network environments, adhere to standards. Address information security issues promptly, providing technical support to resolve security-related problems and conducting security checks at random workstations to identify vulnerabilities. Advise system users on security features, track user activities, and monitor application logs for any security breaches or policy violations, initiating corrective actions as needed. Implement security protocols across the network, document access authorizations, assess data security risks, and collaborate with the IT team to mitigate these risks. Investigate security incidents, assist in planning responses, and carry out disciplinary actions when necessary. The role involves participating in management discussions to review access permissions and collaborating with auditors to ensure compliance with security standards.
