Managing Data Center
Managing IT Department and Services in ensuring maximum online time availability of all Bank's overall systems/applications and ensure accurate, reliable and timely data processing / offline runs of various systems/application being served by the department.
• Effectively manage the IT through efficient use of technology and personnel to provide the bank with the highest quality of data processing services.
• Assist the Head of IT in providing effective operations of various computer systems such as Core Banking, SARIE, Watheeq, Tanfeeth, to ensure day-to-day smooth operations of the department.
• Mange for all online/offline operations of all systems driven by the host Core Banking systems for running various types of application/systems.
• Mange IT plans, schedules, policies and programs for and organization's data processing, network communications, business operations, computer services and management information systems, according to established goals and objectives.
• Ensuring objectives are achieved.
• In-charge of IT participation in activities, Disaster Recovery Procedure (DRP) / Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
• In-charge of performing speedy resolution to any applications/systems failure to ensure that services are delivered to the standards set out in SLA
• Ensures regular housekeeping and security maintenance of the Data Center premises by checking room temperature, humidity, cleanliness for the protection of system/computer hardware, Checking on any unauthorized person's access to Data Center and keeping all Data Center entrance doors closed all the time.
• Operational enhancement.
• Develope the department by enhancement and documentation.
• Change Request for review prior to approval, Ensure that request for approval of Change Request (CR) are having proper approval from authorized management.
Lead and managing department projects:
• Projects for review and approval.
• Implementing the strategy, including environment improvement, feature prioritization, costing, and release.
• Setting deadlines and ensuring that projects remain on schedule.
• Tracking the projects deliverable and providing updates to relevant stakeholders
• Ensured the success of strategy while driving improvements in infrastructure roadmap, QA, and project management.
• Ensuring the project is sticking to the agreed-upon budget.
• Managing every part of the project including schedules, documentation.
