• I am currently work at universal service fund (USF) in Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), since 20 July 2015, the following describe the principal functions of my job:
• Manages data conversion, design, development, training and quality assurance for GIS software systems applications.
• Manages activities involving GIS projects and develops methodologies for creation and use of spatial data including digitizing, editing, coding and annotating line, point and polygon data.
• Develops, implements and manages GIS data and its organizational structure/database environment. Analyzes and interprets spatial data used in the production of maps, reports and other products.
• Consults with county departments in the development of their GIS plans, goals and objectives.
• Functions as database administrator for all GIS related processes and objects.
• Rectification and mosaicking of satellites images .
• Extracting DEM from stereo pair of satellites images.
• Interpretation and classification of satellite images for various purposes, like vegetation analysis, land use/land cover mapping, urban sprawl monitoring, change detection mapping, desertification analysis, drainage mapping and others.
