Process Automation Superintendent of Hydrocarbon and Energy Envelope, additional to that Acting Superintendent of Advanced Control and Optimization.
Process automation lead engineer of Aromatics project in Sadara, I've successfully led the process automation project from SAT, commissioning and till successfully started up the plant.
- Designing and developing new control systems.
- Testing, maintaining and modifying existing systems.
- Analyzing data with PI System or any historizing system and presenting findings in written reports for troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers and production engineers to resolve any plant upset.
- Project management within cost and time constrained environments.
- Understanding and ensuring compliance with the health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Writing computer software with C Sharp or Golang that compatible with PI system for further analyzing and interpreting the data.
- Developing new maintenance strategies.
- Accepting responsibility and a level of accountability that is proportionate to the seniority of the position.
- Developing new function test and review the existing.
- Maintaining the alarm rate within an acceptable level.
- Participating for developing Turn Around scope for the plant.
- Designing an APC Controller from scratch starting with step signal till fine tuning.
- Handling all power rectifiers issues (ABB with PSR2 controller)
