o Maintaining production and quality and reduce cost through analysis.
o Study materials and spare parts specifications before sent to plants
o Tracks and examines the general equipment and ensure the readiness of backup equipment
o Held meetings with the operators (control room, the site) to learn some of the problems at work or some of the shortcomings of the operators.
o Coordinates with the shift chemist to maintain all chemicals aspects of power and desalinations units.
o Raise PTW to the maintenance team.
o Generate the daily report and transfer all the work and the events that took place during the shift to the second shift.
o Perform daily inspection tour and inform the control room operators of any changes made to the station then help them to take the necessary correction action.
o Managing health and safety in the workplace.
Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
Study operations sequence, material flow, functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine worker functions and responsibilities.
