My current responsibility includes;
• Managing Overall Procurement Operations for IBM Pakistan. Responsibility is to ensure smooth procurement at the best total cost of ownership while focusing on process efficiency & optimization.
• Ensure End to End procurement of goods and services for all commodities (IT, Telecom, Construction,
Marketing, Admin and General Procurement)
• Planning procurements, budgets & forecasts strategically with the finance team and internal clients to optimize the yearly procurement plan & process for generating maximized savings.
• Strategically planning Sourcing while concentrating on TCO & Risk assessments to smoothly execute the procurement function.
• Maintaining Procurement Portfolio for IT & Technical Strategic Procurements with a value based strategic
sourcing plan.
• Analytically monitoring and managing the cost drivers while concluding strategic costing analysis and adapting to change with effective change management strategies.
• Ensuring Supplier Selection and Fair Value Analysis and concluding Contracts/Pos accordingly.,
• Supplier Relationship Management and Evaluation for IBM Global Procurement & Supply Chain function.
• Coordination with Line of Business and ensuring early procurement involvement at project level to optimize the sourcing function and negotiations.
• Liaise in with logistics, customer fulfillment, and delivery for managing overall coordination for successful
project closures.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods & services and to manage all stakeholders effectively.
• Ensure smooth E2E execution of Integrated Supply Chain for optimizing the business requirements.

Team Lead Procurement
wi-tribe is an international wireless broadband service provider (Subsidy of Qatar Telecom), currently operating in three countries. wi-tribe, Pakistan is equipped with the latest technology and is providing premium and state of the art Wimax and LDI services throughout Pakistan.
My responsibilities included;
• Initiating, managing and execution of Contracts & POs for both foreign & local procurement.
• Procurement of all goods and services for IT, Technical, Marketing & General Procurement domain throughout Pakistan operation.
• Strategically Planning procurement with finance and internal clients.
• Ensuring early involvement in budget & forecast plans for smooth execution of sourcing activities in line with the Strategic Plan.
• Managing & Handling Logistics & providing support to distribution & warehouses.
• Managing, negotiating and executing contracts pertaining to all services and recurring goods required by wi- tribe Pakistan. The contracts included both foreign and local contracts.
• Managing contracts effectively by continuously communicating and managing changes in contract draft with legal, end-user and vendor.
• Collection relevant information for updating list of vendors. Comparative Analysis for supplier evaluation & award of purchase orders.
• Order management by continuously following up with legal, treasury, taxation and logistics in ensuring
process flow optimization and timely delivery of goods.
• Preparing pre-bidding scope of works as advised by the end user department, floating the RFQs, receipt of quotations, negotiation with the vendors & post bidding contract signing to the successful vendor.
• Various bidding process specifically for turnkey solution of BTS sites, IT infrastructure, Core Network Rollout,
Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of wi-tribe's existing BTS sites, Core Network & Managed Services throughout Pakistan.
• Management of Invoicing with payable department to ensure smooth payment transaction to vendors.

Associate IT/Technical Procurement & Contracts
Mobilink is the largest cellular/GSM company operating in Pakistan. I was working as an Associate in IT & Technical
Procurement Department.
My responsibilities were: • To execute finest negotiation practices while effectively managing vendors/internal customers and at the same time adopting best business expertise.
• To procure IT & Technical related equipment's & services for Mobilink operation throughout Pakistan.
• To negotiate with vendors and at the same time managing internal customers in order to achieve
process and flow optimization.
• To prepare and process POs, PRs in Oracle Financial System & managing overall procurement reports.
• To prepare and manage relevant cases for Orascom approvals in accordance to the required standard by utilizing Enterprise Content Management Portal.
• To manage contracts effectively by continuously communicating and managing changes in contract draft with legal, end-user and vendor.
Apart from performing all of the routine procurement and contract related responsibilities, I was specifically
working on a special project related to Corrective Maintenance & Preventive Maintenance of all the Mobilink
Prime, Standby and T-Prime Sites all over Pakistan. My role was to manage and negotiate the contract for
Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance project and at the same time to achieve optimization of workflow and processes involved in CM & PM, Re-fuelling transportation and security by adopting transparent and effective lean business procedures.
