JOB DETAILS:
•Promote & Implement the HSE plan at work site.
•Assist resolving HSE relevant concerns and make recommendations in respect of safety improvement.
•Develop technique/ procedures to minimize unsafe incidents / accidents.
•Investigate all unsafe / near miss incidents and monitor the sites safety performance against goals set for the project.
•Intervene if the work is to be stopped due to safety reasons.
•Maintain liaison with other departments such as medical and training official bodies such as insurance companies and outside bodies etc.
•Propagate safety through leaflets, memos, reports, poster, notices etc.
•Assist different levels of management in developing accident free operations.
•Organize and participate in periodic safety inspection of worksite.
•Maintain proper documentation of all unsafe incidents and share this experience with crew to avoid reoccurrence.
•Ensure deployment of competent personnel at project worksite.
•Liaison with fire watch as and when required.
•Conduct safety meetings involving client as well as such contractor personnel regularly to discuss site safety performance and other issue. Indicate toolbox talks on daily basis with all crew.
•Maintain records of TBT conducted at site on daily basis.
•Be key member of the worksite emergency team.
•Monitoring the Health Safety & Environment matters related to work site activities
•Conducting emergency evacuation and rescue drills
•Conducting internal training.
•Fire safety inspections
•Accident investigations and implementation of corrective action
•Direct Supervision on permit to Hot Work, Scaffolding, Heavy Lifting, Crane Operation etc.
