Acting Supervisor of Planning & Cost Controller:

• Supervise and monitor the work of the engineers and staff in the department
• Ordering different materials ( such as Pick up/ forklifts) through issuing PRs/WSR
• Make sure that the status of all the orders updated in daily basis.
• Follow up with the suppliers regarding the quotations and prices
• Follow up with the procurement department regarding the status of the purchases orders.
• Signing materials request documents in daily basis.
• Support the engineers and advises them regarding the materials and costs.
• Attend different meeting either internally or externally.
• Attend different workshops in other sections to get the new systems updates.

Responsibilities:
Supervision

• Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within the team is carried out in an efficient manner
Cost Control
• Carries out a variety of activities related to the company’s maintenance and construction job costing system, including receipt s of job requests from ESNAAD areas or Tenants
• Allocating and recording job control numbers obtaining work costs and passing on for work scheduling
• Receiving completed job requests and coordinates the data entry of time sheets for details of actual job hours, materials and costs into the Maximo system.
• Assigns service orders to the relevant engineers or supervisors within the department to carry out the work
Statement and reports
• Assists in the preparation of department’s statements and reports of the activities timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
• Provide assistance in developing internal memoranda and reports.
• Complete and distributes the monthly division activities reports, including details of major activities and or /issues resolved / pending, capital projects underway and any disposal action undertaken in the month

Communication &working relationships
• Internal: Frequent contacts at own or next higher level to obtain information, monitor progress of work, equipment performance etc. and to gain approval for plans
• External: Frequent contact with tenants to coordinate schedule maintenance requests and / or to provide estimates information on work t
