• All irrigation design functions, including preliminary project assessment, planning, design, hydraulic
calculations, application rates, control systems, valves, pumping requirements, filtration requirements,
water transportation pipelines, and reservoirs. Irrigation systems will consist of drip lines, bubblers, and
sprinklers.
• Attending meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants to resolve design issues whenever required.
• Complete all design and engineering functions in a timely and efficient manner to meet
customer’s requirements and budgetary constraints, while adhering to the highest level of industry
standards and integrity.
• Develop accurate design material lists ensuring all material quantities and specifications are
correct.
• Maintain complete records of all system designs including all files, drawings, database,
spreadsheets, notes, etc.
• Assists customers, McAdams staff and contractors in the field and office with irrigation design and
application related questions.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary or as assigned by the head section.
• Support field construction with project oversight, inspections and field observation notes
whenever requested in a timely, thorough, and professional manner.
• Develop preliminary design, detailed design, Shop drawings & AS-BUILT drawings for Electrical services such as (Lighting, Small Power, Main Power, Earthing, Lightning Protection, Fire Alarm, ELV System, Street Lighting, Boundary Wall lighting, Ooredoo External Network, LV & HV External Network, GA Layouts and Electrical Layouts.
• Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations. Communicating with architects and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings. Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team. Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations.
• Instructing and guiding draftsman for the preparation and modification of conceptual, design & Delivery drawings to client, authority having jurisdiction, supplier and contractors. Ensuring Quality of the drawings and deliverables as per company standards.
• Submit the entire red line markup drawing of the project for electrical services.
• Prepare a pole verticality report for street lights and outdoor cameras according to the service report.
• Prepare CRS (comment resolution sheet) and Drawing transmittals as required.
• Checks and confirms the circuit number of the power cables to be implemented in the tags and cable schedule for final transmission.
• Prepare the entire cable tags of the project for electrical services.
• Design Shop drawing for HVAC, MEP Coordination drawings, Plumbing and Drainage system in Auto CAD and Revit.
• Instructing and guiding draftsman for the preparation and modification of conceptual, design & Delivery drawings to client, authority having jurisdiction, supplier and contractors. Ensuring Quality of the drawings and deliverables as per company standards.
• Creation of drawings manually and through use of computer aided drafting system (CAD). Create and maintain Variable Revit Family Models that reflect our Submittal parameters. Read the design drawings and generate a 3D model in Revit for creation of Shop Drawings purposes.
• Ensure to meet deadlines set by client and management. Check drawing packages for proper layout and dimensions.
• Plans mechanical drawings by reviewing sketches, descriptions, specifications, and supporting documents; conferring with engineers and product designers. Read, interpret and understand structural and architectural contract drawings.
• Draft CAD Drawing as per the information and plans provided by customer and engineers. Coordinates with engineering design team in engineering shop/ AS-BUILT drawing using Auto CAD.
• Assisting engineers with technical queries and provides technical assistance where applicable. Coordinate drawings to construction team to provide adjustment as necessary.
• Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects. Draft and prepare layout drawings of the given structures, components and devices.
• Prepares and revises engineering drawings, shop drawings, details, charts and similar document as directed. Utilize both manual drawing skill as well as computer-based application, such as automated computer-aided drafting; the draftsman creates both two dimensional and three-dimensional rendering of the finished projects
• Preparation of AS-BUILT Drawings.
• Maintain all drawing logs.
• Preparation of Shop and AS-BUILT Drawings for Plumbing Drainage system for all kinds of buildings which includes above mention project description.
• Preparation of MEP High Level and Low-Level Coordination drawings for all kinds of buildings which includes above mention project description.
• Responsibility to prepare the shop drawing and AS-BUILT drawings for all ELV System drawings including CCTV, RFID, access controls and other security systems.
• Preparation of port counts for all ELV System.
• Preparation of IDF and MDF rooms layouts
• Preparation of Back Bone Layouts (Interconnection between IDF to MDF)
• Preparation of Rack and Switched Layout.
• Preparation of structural cabling layout.
• Using software to convert the designs and plans.
• Obtain and assemble data to complete architectural designs, vising job sites to compile measurements as necessary.
• Draw rough and detail scale plans for foundation, buildings and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.
• Represent architects on construction site, ensuring builder complains with design specifications and advising on design correction, under architects’ supervision.
