Datacenter Consolidation: Performed the following tasks during datacenter consolidation:
Designed and Implemented HP C7000 Gen8 Blade servers in a highly available environment. Configured HP Blade C7000 Chassis, SAN switch, HP Storage Works and Virtual connect Flex Fabric. Migrated old infrastructure to Blade servers to keep organization business highly available using P2V technology.
Installed ESXi 5.1 on blade servers and configured highly available vSphere clusters with DPM. Configured vSphere networking, Vmotion and DRS. Performed physical to virtual migrations of old windows infrastructure to new blade servers using vCenter convertor. Deployed update manager server for patching of ESXi servers.
Deployment of Windows Server 2012 in a highly redundant environment on Blade servers. Installed windows clustering feature, Hyper-V role and configured NIC teaming for redundancy on each blade server. Configured virtual machine clustering and performed physical to virtual migrations of old windows infrastructure to new blade servers using Microsoft virtual machine manager.
Systems Infrastructure Up-gradation:
Performed the following system infrastructure upgradation using VMware vSphere 5.1 virtualization technology:
RAID configuration and Windows Server 2012 installation of HP ProLiant DL380 Gen 8 servers and configured.
Planning and Sizing of Hyper-V virtual machines.
Active Directory migration from 2003 to Active Directory 2008 R2.
Microsoft Exchange Server migration from Exchange Server 2003 SP2 to Exchange Server 2010 SP2.
DHCP server migration from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 R2.
Windows server update service server migration from windows server 2003 to windows server 2008 R2.
Print Servers migration from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 R2.
Microsoft Private Cloud Implementation:
Implemented Microsoft Private Cloud using System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012.
Automate the virtual machine creation process using System Center Orchestrator and System Center Service Manager 2012.
Deploy App Controller 2012 and provide Private Cloud Infrastructure access to the end users.
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012 Migration:
Perform the migration of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager from 2007 to 2012.
